Had this at the Inn and Restaurant in Calistoga. It pours a cloudy yellow with almost no head and lacing - reminded me of a cask ale. The smell had a hint of banana and yeast. The taste was very uninteresting and missing that familiar hefeweizen crispness and taste. Unfortunately, after putting a lemon in it had some sense of flavor. I won't be having this again.

Appearance> slightly hazy. yellow. quite lively. Disappointingly there was no head, and, as you can imagine, no lacing.

Smell>Great. HUGE buttery bouquet. It was like a chardonnay, but with nut, grain, and a hint of banana.

Taste> light, crisp, surprisingly a bit buttery, but bittering out. Smidge of spice in the soft sweet hang. Not complex, but decent

Mouf> pretty decent

Drink> sure!
