12 oz. Bottle

Poured into a tulip a pretty nice dark cloudy orangey color, very nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger off-white head, which does leave some nice small islands and sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, with some maltyness, citrusy, piney. The taste is pretty nice, hoppy, slight malt, citrusy, some pineyness. Medium body, ABV hidden pretty well. with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, kinda surprised me, nice brew.

its been awhile since i have had a new one from these guys, and this is pretty good, better than most all of their other hoppy stuff i have had. a little caramel malts in here give it a nice rich bronze color with a short white head in the pint glass. it smells juicy and bitter both, pretty intense on the hops, oily in the clear beer, not shy with them. toasted and caramelized grain on the front end, vegetal pine family hops the rest of the way, bitter as can be, huge body, not super dry, decent carbonation, pine needles, delicious. its sturdy and the sweetness beefs it up even more, but i still find myself working pretty quickly through a pint of this, and close to ordering a second one. not the most original brew in the world, but the have absolutely gotten the most out of the hops they put in, and its much more aggressive and robust than a lot of the other beers i have had from bristol, which tend to be good enough and all, but rather safe across the board. perhaps this marks a bold new direction for the brewery, but even if its simply an aberration, its a darn tasty one. nice job!
