Tried this in a mixed pack from Costco. I was pleasantly surprised.

Excellent example of a stout from a Colorado Brewery.

Leaves a nice lace. Can barely see through it in a pint glads. Deep red brown. Has a hop and malt smell. Has more hop profile than most oatty stouts. I like it. it had balance just slight on hop side. Earthy hops. Umm. Yes will have many more of these. Good job to bristol brewery. It's in my top five oatty stouts!

Draft, taster

A – Black with light khaki foam. Seems pretty clear but mostly opaque.

S – Deep chocolate malt, and lightly roasted/bitter aroma. A touch of nuttiness and light espresso.

T – Very high, lightly bitter, chocolate with roasty, espresso coffee notes. Hops seem to be lightly herbal, not very high in the mix.

M – Moderate carbonation, very little sweetness. Balanced toward the roasty bitterness.

O – A roasted malt showcase, very good.

Horribly designed label which probably made the stout taste worst
