"Based on the amber style, Mass Transit is a flavorful ale that goes down effortlessly. Crystal, Carapils, Victory and Vienna specialty malts give this ale its rich auburn color and mellow taste."

12 oz. Bottle

Pours a slightly cloudy dark golden/reddish color, pretty nice carbonation, with a nice small thick/creamy off-white head, which leaves some sticky lacing behing. The nose is slightly hoppy, with some malt notes, nice little citrus going on. The taste is hoppy, kinda malty, kinda citrusy. Medium body, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, a tasty brew.

Pretty reddish hues on this one. Almost a full inch of head on it. Aroma was that red malt thing. Not a big fan. Taste was one dimensional, under hopped, over carbonated. There isn't much here. I mean, fat tire has more heft in this style of beer. Great artwork. Good crossover beer I guess.

Red color, white head around the 7/8" mark. Looks good, even if the lacing was scattershot.

Aroma was average red ale malt stuff. Hops absent.

Taste, lack of hops still evident. Pretty meh. Minimal bitterness. Caramel doesn't even jump at you. Effortless stuff, although if you're in the mood for adventure, this will disappoint.

Light to Medium yellow with an amazingly fast fading head. Head goes to nothing and looks like your drinking yellow water. Very clear, however. No discernable smell and a weak non distinct flavor profile - having nothing to do with an amber or red ale. Not worth a return visit for me.
