Pours from 12oz brown bottle into a pint glass.

It has a hazy orange color with clean white head. It's very fine texture makes it last quite a while leaving some lacing behind.

Aroma is weak by comparison with other IPAs but it has a subtle hoppy quality.

Flavor is nicely bittered with good balance. It has a nice variety of hops to it so it isn't all one-sided.

Mouthfeel is smooth and not over carbonated. It has medium body and a nice clean finish.

Drinkability is good but I wouldn't say it's an excellent IPA. It passes the test but there are much better examples out there.

Had this at old Chicago tonight, cool to see something new from these guys!

Pours apricot/caramel with a finger of dirty beige head. Good lacing & average head retention.

S: Citric hops & caramel

T: Mild grapefruit, caramel & pear up front. More grapefruit & a bit lemony hops as this warms, plus a touch of grassyness, pears & pineapple as this warms. Finishes crisp with nice biscuitty malt undertones

MF: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation & good balance

Drinks very easy, nice crisp IPA, not super hoppy, but a nice balanced IPA, was truly shocked at how much wife liked this one

A- Pours a dark golden with a large frothy white head and sticky lacing

S- Strong floral hop, slight hint of malt sweetness, light citrus

T- Moderate dry bitterness throughout, floral hop and noticeable citrus flavors, slightly warming, malt component doesn't come out until the end, slightly sweet with some dark breadiness

M- Moderate body, light carbonation

O- Hop-heavy IPA that has a good taste and aroma, nothing too out of the ordinary, but good

A: A very clear apple cider colored beer. I poured a nickle worth or foam but it quickly dissipated to a white film cover on top.

S: Smell is is bitter like its taste such as American IPA's are. The malt is very prevalent with a caramel smell.

T: Bitter. Tastes like an IPA should.

M: I would have to say it goes down easy and is quite enjoyable.

D: Overall It is a interesting taste. One of my choices to bring out to Indiana for school.

Great beer ,a must have on nitro. Just wish they would serve food. The pretzels are good addition to the bar seen , the taco counter only lasted a short time. they need somthing to complement the beers. Maybe a local flair ? nachos with some spicy salsa?

12 oz bottle brewed during the fourth week of January, according to the notches. Pours a hazy copper color with a respectable off-white foam. Retention is average, as is the lacing.

Nose is citrusy hops, orange and grapefruit peel. Cascade, me thinks along with something else...there is some pine needle hop aromas in there as well. Caramely sweet malt background with a touch of honeyed bread dough. Not bad.

Piney hops are supported by plentiful sweet crystal malts. They play off each other fairly well, but I would not mind the beer being a bit more dry. Hops do a good job of providing plenty of both flavoring and bittering. Freshness is the key to this beer as the honeyed malts can get to be a bit much when the hops start to fade. Plenty of body and carbonation is medium-low. Drinks about right for a 6.7%'er. I think this is a fairly tasty IPA.

Draft, taster

A – Light to medium amber, very light khaki foam.

S – Caramel malt and mango, light guava, some other tropical fruit.

T – Again, caramel and bread dough. Hops are fruity but a lot more bitterness contributed here.

M – Moderate carbonation, mild sweetness, but bends hard toward hop bitterness. Pretty dry, bitter finish.

O – Would like a little more presence of hop flavor to balance everything. Not bad, but kind of blends in with the crowd.
