L - thought this was the American IPA because the label is basically the same.... is it the same? In signature pioneer fashion, it pours a murky greenish brown. Not a whole lot of life here. Head foams up nicely, but huge gaping holes weaken the structure and it quickly comes tumbling down.

S - upfront is melon rind and apricot. A bit herbal and floral. Grassy and green, but worth some ripe sweetness on the finish. A little crackery.

T - not as burning as their other IPAs! Mellow and darkly juicy. Papaya and pineapple. Piney in hoppiness and mildly acidic. Leaves a grainy grassiness in the back of the mouth. Tropical and humid.

F - smooth and gushy at first, then the signature out of control fizz jumps in. Very airy and hard to swallow after the fact.

O - I like the flavors in this one. It's sweet and sticky, but with an acidic bite that brings me back to reality. Feels higher in ABV than it actually is. It is definitely a bit unrefined, but that's par for the course.

Apricot colored with fine streams of bubbles riding to the surface. Low aroma of biscuity malt and subtle hops. Muted flavor, not overly hoppy, more like a muted pale ale. Had higher hopes.

A: The beer is hazy yellow in color and has a light to moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high white head.
S: Light to moderate aromas of grapefruit are present in the nose along with notes of honeydew melon, the latter of which gets stronger as the beer warms up.
T: The taste has flavors of honeydew melons along with notes of orange citrus and hints of grapefruit. There is a light to moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and slightly crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I found this IPA to be an interesting change of pace. The melon flavors were of particular interest.

From a brewery can, into a flare.
Nice, light orange hazy look.
Little to no head. I'm not sure if this is on purpose, or what....but, I noticed the same thing with Trailblazer. It foamed up on the pour, but quickly disappeared. It might be a little under-carbonated, or maybe a problem with canning...but, nonetheless, it felt carbonated in the mouth. No lacing.
Overall flavor is on the money...just what you'd expect from a NEIPA, and that's a style I'm familiar with. It's a juice bomb, no doubt. It tastes much smoother than the listed 88 IBUs.
Definitely worth a trip to the brewery, for this one; I'm interested in getting a glass off the keg, to see how it compares to the can.

Good, not great. The carbonation overpowers the flavors to some degree. Smell is a little too mild for a top tier IPA. Still smooth and drinkable and at 6.5 you can throw a few back.

16oz can. Pours a slightly hazy brownish good color with an inch of head. The aroma is floral and citrus hops with maybe a hint of sweet pine. Almost has a Hi Chew mango smell to it. The taste is tangerine, mango, melon, floral hops and pine. The malt flavor comes out more towards the end. Tangerine and melon finish. Creamy mouthfeel with low carbonation. Dry. Decent IPA I’d buy again.

From the can, it pours a hazy amber with a modest head, soon diminishing to nothing - even poured slightly warm as this one was. Some grapefruit in the nose. The mouth gets a light grapefruit taste, with a malt background. Nice!
