Tetley’s English Pub Ale: From the tap. Beautiful bronze color, a rich dense head, very cloudy. The aroma reminded me of a Belgian dubbel, with bananas, and yeast. The taste was initially very similar to a Belgian like Duvel, but as it warmed up it became much more like a rich sweet cider. Had a sweet aftertaste, very nice.

This is from a nitro can poured into a British pub glass and it is surprisingly yummy. L: It is hazy orange amber under a 1” white foam collar that provides thick lace. S: Bready malt, slight fruit and nut aromas. T: Creamy and drinkable, slight sweetness in the background, malt prominent, lingering hop aftertastes backed by pleasant, biscuit malt – the nitro can sweeps out all of the bitter hop flavors. F: Fairly light but super creamy. O: This is so soothing – this is what you might drink when you have an owie.
