Beer was poured from the bottle into a Pint glass.
Have to say, this Beer is decent, and if you see it, it's worth having a try at least, however this beer just isn't for me. With IPA's I prefer something much hoppier than this, it is fine that it doesn't have a strong hop flavour, but when it comes to IPAs this wouldn't be my first port of call.

L- Medium chestnut, head swiftly clears.
S- An element of 'stewed fruits', though mild.
T- Quite bright, piquant fruit notes into a balanced dry finish. A few more sips and it'd depth comes through.
F- The 'piquant fruit notes' have a touch of sourness that makes it refreshing. It keeps it in balance though which is good.
O- It fully feels it's 5.5% ABV, the dry/piquant/slightly sour edge seems to accentuate it. There is no mega-hopping, nothing OTT screaming for attention, this is a very good beer, and that's clear by it achieving it via balance.
Bought from Oddbins, Notting Hill Gate, London. 330ml can/£2. BBE 31/07/2020.

Amber color with weak head. Hoppy aroma with floral and mandarin; caramalts are in background. Residual sugary, citrusy and woody taste is slightly bitter. Astringent and harsh a bit. Low carbonation, low-med bodied.

Typical IPA in look and feel. Lots of flavour but unbalanced and a little too bitter.

From Hopt. In Teku glass. Playing Game of Thrones. Medium resin, citrusy, caramelly and with a fairly strong and pleasanr bitterness. Nice but nothing mindblowing.

Lacking in hop aroma and flavor lots of burnt toast malt, finishes with just a bit more sweetness than it should and leaves a lingering metallic flavor. I'd be inclined to write it off as past its prime, but it has 7 month of shelf life left on it according to the best by date, so I guess it's just not very good?
