Look: Semi-clear deep ruby red with a frothy off-white head that settles to a nice blanket, leaving behind great lacing
Aroma: Freshly baked bread, caramel, toasted bread crust, light earthy notes, and some fruity esters
Taste: A big bready punch out of the gate along with caramel and earthiness that all interplay well. Fruity esters peak in from time to time while more bready malt recaptures the focus. Closes out with some spicy hop notes and more sweet bready malt
Mouthfeel: Full bodied – bordering on chewy but not quite there, medium-high carbonation, and a decent bite along with light dryness on the finish
Overall: Tasty stuff here. These folks have been around for years but only this year did I finally dive into their lineup and this one is another winner. A solid red ale with great malt presence and enough earthy and spicy hops to keep it balanced. Bigger (higher ABV) than the usual ‘red ale’ but hides it well and delicious to boot

I had this in a can, purchased in Portland, Oregon May 2020.
Red amber color, lack of much of a head.
Citrus....some pine scent.
Taste was lacking. Bitter but that was about it. Also a chemical after taste I cannot quite place, but same with another Fearless beer I have had. Not pleasant. Makes me wonder what is in that "magical waters of the Clackamas River"!
Would not purchase again

16oz can from "Lifesource" in Salem.OR. Dark amber, hazy with a quarter inch creamy light tan head. Aroma is mainly on the malty side caramel,biscuit..some spicy hop. Very nicely balanced tasty, chocolaty malts, spicy hop holds up..bitter liquorice at the end. Good smooth mouthfeel. Nice beer, but the liquorice aspect is pretty high in the after taste so if you dislike liquorice maybe this wont be for you.

Look: It pours dark amber with an off white head. The clarity is good.
Smell: There is a moderate caramel aroma. There are also some low cherry notes with a bit of spice and slight pine.
Taste: The flavors are moderately high with caramel. There is a bit of spice in the background with low cherry and floral. The pine is very low.
Feel: It has a moderate body with moderate bitterness. There is a slight bit of harshness in the finish.
Overall, a balance that is towards the malt in the beginning and finishes towards the hops and esters in the end.

Murky dark amber. Creamy tan, quickly dissipating, head that drops to a permanent small ring that leaves minimal lacing. Aroma of malt and somewhat dank, earthy hops. Taste is initially sweet malt, then moderately bitter earthy hops. Medium body, bitter finish.

Fearless Brewing Loki Red Ale- 7.5% abv.
A: Dark cola brown. By color I’d say is technically a brown ale not a red ale, it’s just way hoppier so I guess it fits loosely into the red ale style.
S: heavy on the roast malt, a little hops, an almost dirty scent, kinda dank. Alcohol too.
T: sweet candy malt, then a lot of roast grain char with the bitter piney hops. The taste reminds me of a coffee stout despite the fact that it’s a red ale and it contains no coffee.
M: very watery for how it sticks around on the tongue, I believe this contributes to the coffee stout aspect.
O: an interesting brew, I guess. Not bad at all. 4.25/5.

16oz can, 7.5% ABV. 'Center of the brewing universe', eh? That tongue had better be firmly planted, if not painfully so, in your collective cheeks (you get to pick which ones, I'm an easy-going guy), I hope.
This beer pours a clear, medium orange-brick amber hue, with a fistful of puffy, tightly foamy, and weakly bubbly beige head, which leaves some decent sharply edged webbed laced around the glass as things gradually recede.
It smells of bready, somewhat biscuity and toasted caramel malt, red apple, anjou pear, and muddled citrus orchard fruit notes, oily nuts, a hint of earthy yeast, the suggestion of an opening coffee shop door, and a bit of metallic alcohol warming. The taste is warm caramel pudding, soft toffee-flecked biscuits, edgy, somewhat stale nutty essences, mixed and matched dark fruit, gritty, and sort of dirty yeast, and a plain citrusy, leafy, and earthy hoppiness.
The bubbles are prevalent, but fairly understated in their diffusion, the body a sturdy medium weight, and actually quite smooth, no hops in this offering having the temerity to interfere as such. It finishes barely off-dry, surprisingly, the hops now opting to dive right into the state of affairs, pushing back the otherwise dominant, and weirdly crispy malt.
An enjoyable enough strong amber ale, one which has more than a passing resemblance to Scotch ales, whether by this brewery, or others. Sweet, more hoppy than initially perceptible, and boozy, in that sneaky, look the other way while I render you helpless to my various whims manner, whether you like it or not.

I have a Husky & Rottweiler mix named Loki, so I had to try this one.
On tap at the 15th Hop House in Portland, & served in a served in a 16 oz. modified strange, the beer is a dark garnet with a tan head. It has really nice lacing, the beer is a looker! My dog is kind of a looker, so we will call it a draw.
Malts and citrus (smells better than my dog..) it is fresh and inviting.
I like the interplay of the malts and hops on this one. Citrus and pine in the forefront, followed by caramel malts.
The mouth is thick and coating. It’s an enjoyable beer that does my Dog proud!
