Bottle pour - clear pale gold straw color with short white head leaving scattered lacing. Nose is grassy and floral with mild citrus and pine. Taste follows. A crisp and refreshing sessionable pale ale.

Sweet, dry, and piney. The mouthfeel is a bit watery the more you dive into the bottle. Overall, just happy to get a hold of this one as you typically only see the usual suspects from Russian River on store shelves. An above average ale I would say.

Pours a very pale clear with the two finger non-recentive head.
Very piney fruity aroma.
Very thin bodied with notes of guava and grass and leaves decent lacing.
Overall reminds me of like a daytime beer very thin not heavy at all no bite at all.

Appearance: Pours a clear, pale golden color. A sudsy white foam head.
Aroma: Sweet Piney, citrus and earthy aroma. A little bit of melon and yeast.
Taste: yeasty up front, followed by piney and citric hops. Some floral and somewhat earthy undertones. A mellow bitterness in the finish. Doesn't linger long though.
Overall: another good beer from from a great company. My favorite pale.

Pours a relatively clear golden color with a creamy white head, that had some staying power. The nose is classic American IPA with predominately grapefruit notes, with some pine resin and a little sweetness. The taste follows the nose pretty closely. Grapefruit flavors predominate with a balanced bitterness, that pairs well with a fairly sweet finish.
It feels a little thin to me. It's unfair to make the inevitable comparison to the Pliny brothers, but that flavor profile is baked in to my brain, and this beer is just less overall. That's not necessarily a bad thing. You could session this, which I wouldn't do with Pliny. I'm not a huge American IPA fan, so this is not going to make it into my rotation, but if your a fan of that style, it's well worth trying

Canned 8/31/2021 wet hop version
Sweet tropical hoppy, lemony-citrus, and old-school citrus-dank nose on this one! Taste follows with a light and crisp, lemony-citrus, and hoppy piney bitter finish. This is clean and refreshing...good pale ale!

Had this on 2019-07-06 in Windsor, CA at the brewery on tap and again 2019-07-13 in Stockton, CA from a fresh bottle acquired at the brewery.
A - Clear straw with 2 finger white head and very nice lace.
S - Lots of fresh, sweet pineapple, melon, light pine and almost dank earthy spice
T - Biscuit, citrus, pine, mild pineapple, pepper
M - Light-medium body and carbonation. Reasonably dry.
O - About as good a session ale as you could hope. Shares some aroma and flavors with Pliny the Elder but dialed back.
