Nice and funky. Citric acid plays a big role with a solid amount of Brett. Nice and lemony with a rather dry finish.

It gets a 87/100.

L - pours a lazy clear golden straw. Robust, fluffy head.

S - Brett right off the bat. Some lemon lime twang and a white vinous character. Green apple.

T - white grapes and the yellow sweet tarts. Lemon zest and barnyard funk. Finishes with apple juice.

F - low carb. Feels natural! Slight controlled tingles.

O - loving the white wine in this. An elegantly crafted brew.

Wonderful Brett blond ale. Tart fruit notes throughout the drinking experience. Funky yeast aromas are not quite on the level of an Orval but damn I'm not kicking this one out of bed for making crumbs. Finishes really smooth despite the sharply acidic front end. This beer leans towards the tart end of the tart-->sour spectrum. This one poured a beautiful bright gold that sparkled when held up to the light. I wish I could get another bottle to let it age some more. I want that Brett to keep working its magic in the bottle for a year or more.

375ml bottle. 6/19/15 bottle date. Appearance: Hazy light golden, with a thick white frothy head and nice lacing. Aroma: A strong, distinct funky brett aroma, with a noticeable citrus lemon and grapefruit component. Taste: Light, bready malt sweetness, a sharp acidic lemony citrus, and an earthy, funky brett component that is much stronger than what’s picked up on the aroma. Mouthfeel: Light to moderate body with a high carbonation. Finish: Lingering citrus tartness, but heavier on earthy funkiness Overall: Great beer and a showcase of a 100% brett beer. Not only does the brett provide the typical funkiness, but it also has a pleasant citrus peel flavor and acidity to add complexity. The fermentation of this beer produces an amazing amount of varying flavors. World class
