This is RRs version of a hazy beer, although it comes across more unfiltered/particulate-heavy West Coast IPA than hazy NEIPA juice bomb. I'm not complaining.

First new IPA offering from these guys that I've had in awhile and it did not disappoint! Supposedly their take on a NE style IPA. While it isn't the haze bomb expected from that description it is juicy as can be with that classic dank west coast finish. Mouthfeel adds to the hop nectar character and it's absolutely crushable at 7 percent. Might not be what the kids want but this is a fantastic IPA.

On tap at RRBC
L: light gold with little white head
S: not a lot going with the smell. Either my sinuses are wrecked or there is no smell here.
T: excellent taste of hops and malt. Weird since I never got anything on the nose.
F: really good feel for an IPA. Solid and perfectly carbonation.
O: this one is tough. On look and smell it's just ok. But on the other 2 it's awesome. Has to go middle ground here.

Thanks sfsea for this one! From a growler filled 3/19, these guys have stoppers as well crafted as their beers because it definitely popped when I popped the top, took me a minute to figure out how to get the cage back on the bottle for a proper seal.
Pours a slightly hazy golden hue with two fingers of tightly woven head that lingers for a bit before settling into film that just covers the beer and lacing galore.
Smell is much juicier and tropical than Elder, their version of NE IPA?
Taste starts very similar but finishes with the piney resinous aftertaste.
Good carbonation and mouthfeel.
Not the hazy juice bomb NE style I've grown accustomed to, juicy but still maintains that West Coast aspect RR is known for, excellent brew!
