Had with a year of age on this one.

L -- Pours a moderately hazed deep nectarine/ruby body with an average sized off-white head produced with moderate pour. Some retention and lacing
S -- Grapey musk, apple, cherry, cranberry, raspberry, tamari, and funk
T -- Super oaky and winey. Getting some hints of apple cider vinegar, currant, cherry, and dark roasty malts
F -- Like with Supplication, the mouthfeel is lightly fluffy and smooth drinking. The sourness is obviously there (a little more than with Supp), but its not overbearing
O -- High ABV wilds can be pretty..... wild! But this one finds a nice medium between the maltiness of a high ABV dark ale and the crazy funkiness that makes it what it is. Better without the bottom sediment mixed in

Excellent musky vinous character, well-controlled sourness, elements of overripe cherry, grape, and blackberry tied together with an oaky backbone. A great sour. A 4.5? I don't know about that, but one of the best I've had in the style

Poured into a Pint Defiance tulip. Body is a dark ruby red, with a half finger head. Aromas consist of berries and oak barrels. Flavors are the same. The beer is less sour than I thought it would be, carbonation is high, and it's kind of dry.

Tasted from bottle. Pours a dark ruby looking almost identical to a port wine with thin white head that quickly fades. Aroma is very complex. Smells vinous with the Cabernet definitely prominent. Cherry, prune, figs,, plums, brown sugar. Taste is very similar to smell. Moderate to heavy sweetness followed by a moderate sour flavor. I'm not a big sour fan but this is very good. Medium bodied with sticky and clingy mouthfeel. Flavors of cherry, prune, Cabernet. From a guy who is not a big sour fan even I'll admit this is a very complex and tasty beer.
