bottle dated 7/27/12
A: poured into a Russian River 'tion' glass to a clear yellow with a small and dense white head that fades to a small pool in the middle and a large collar around the edge of the glass
S: smells of oak, funk and sourness. definitely some bretty goodness on the nose with this one
T: big sourness up front with some nice fruity notes, a bit of oak, slight funk and barnyardy flavor with some more oak. swallow is a nice sour fruitiness that slowly fades with a bit more oak
M: medium in the mouth with soft and ample carb that is just slightly prickly and is quite dry on the finish
O: absolutely phenomenal beer. Words can't express how perfect it is for an American Wild Ale. It's honestly a benchmark beer for a sour blonde
