Pours an opaque, deep gold, producing 2 fingers of frothy, somewhat lasting, off-white head that leaves a super coating of webby lace. Aroma is floral, grapefruit, & pine hops in a thin caramel malt background. Taste is less balanced hoppy mix of heavy pine, moderate grapefruit zest, flesh & pith with a hint of tropical fruit hops with caramel malt trailing far behind. Finishes peppery with a grapefruit pith & pine bitterness, transitioning to an intensely bitter & astringent lasting aftertaste. Much more flavor than expected. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with moderate carbonation, nicely creamy & just a little thick for a session beer but becoming prickly in the finish with a mouth coating bitterness that becomes lively with astringency.

From a bottle shared by a friend of mine visiting me. Sampled on July 4, 2014.
The pour is cloudy pale yellow with a modest little head.
The floral hops on the nose tend to remind me of grapefruit. Bitterness is evident.
Medium body.
Like the aroma the taste has a kind of mild malty character at first but it flourishes into a fruity and bitter bite at the end. Sessionable. Not overly bitter but enough to make me remember.

A single picked up at Total Wine Dunwoody
A - Bronze with no clarity, no head or lace
S - Huge bitter hop aroma! Definitely was dry hopped. An IPA thats for sure.
T - Like the aroma, it has a big bitter taste but well balanced too. Tough to do for a session brew. Tasty as hell!
M - The only place I can knock this brew is that it is kinda flat. Not much carbonation going on.
O - As good of a session IPA that I have ever had. I could drink this all day long. Extreme taste to satisfy hop heads but still just 4.2%. Red Brick is really doing great stuff lately. New and improved!
