45°F, 12 oz bottle into a snifter

A: Black, fluid, and a tan-brown head, sticks to the glass, and leaves a nice lacing throughout the session.

S: BOURBON, then some sweet, dark fruit, chocolate.

T: Again, follows the nose. Strong palate attack up front. The fruity, sweet raisin, plum hits first, then some chocolate, vanilla, and coffee. THe bourbon is not shy, and fills out the back end of the taste... leading to

M: A very nice mouthfeel. Carbonated, but not over carbonated. Thick on the tongue, and full in the swallow due to the heat of the ABV. Lingering fruity, sticky notes after you finish.

O: Great BBA. As a local, I will try to find more, and cellar, share and EXTRA these to get the name of Red Brick out to the masses. Can't believe they have been here 20 years!

Had this beer on 4/26/15. Been stuck in a cabinet since it came out. Had it side by side with one of the Imperial Stouts by Red Brick that just came out. Man this is a totally different beast. This one smells/tastes so much better. You get the barrel in the nose and the taste. There is some vanilla, oak and char in there that is just awesome. Smooth great beer. Glad it aged well.

Pretty solid beer, got as an extra in a trade I did, thanks @woodchip. Lucky me he's giving me some anniversary edition imperial stouts. Overall solid beer, lots of flavor within and can definitely tell it was aged in bourbon barrels. I'm just starting to get into stouts but this is definitely high up on my list of what I've had.

On tap at Kickbacks in Jax. Poured into a small snifter. Light, tudor brown head, good retention on a black body. Sticky and soapy lacing. Aroma includes coffee, vanilla, wafer cookies, light chocolate, baking chocolate, white chocolate and faint whisky. Taste flavors follow suit with the coffee malt dominating and all the other flavors dancing all over the tongue. Alcohol is well masked, impressive considering the abv. Very delicious, and dangerously easy to drink.

Had never heard of this brewery and added a few of these as a "throw in" to my Letspour beer order. Glad I did!

Pours a jet black silky smooth colored ale and a very nice beige/brown head with staying power. Lacing is light.

The aroma is outstanding. Vanilla and chocolate swirl here. I could whiff this all day. Light apple/orange though I believe this is from the bourbon barrel shining through. The wood/barrel is present as well. Really aromatic.

The taste is great as well. Follows suit with the aroma. Slightly hoppy and a kiss of bourbon burn. Chocolate dessert here. Coffee beans. More vanilla. Just a really, really good blend of flavors here. Slight warmth in the tum-tum. Nice bourbon/chocolate on the aftertaste.

The mouthfeel is oily as I was expecting but in a good way.

Overall this met and exceeded my expectations. Just a great barrel aged stout with great drinkability and full of flavor. Not too sweet...not too bitter. The barrel is not overpowering. A great way to celebrate your 20th Anny Red Brick. And to think I never heard of em. Distribute to Cali damnit! And keep brewing these barrel aged all-stars. You nailed it!
