Premium labelled 4-2018 bottle with 12-2018 BB date stamp. Purchased and consumed in Fukuoka, Japan.

This is a well crafted, relatively bold pilsner with ample hops and a bit more medium dark grains than usual. The latter is reflected in the deep amber color of the clear body. Good balance. Medium body and medium carbonation with a crisp finish.

Herbal, spicy hops, bready malt

Poured from a dark green 305mL bottle into a glass.

It's clear gold with good head. Effervescent.
Oh god. Mayhap the skunkiest beer I've ever smelt. It smells rotten, literally.
It's sweet, almost overwhelmingly so-- sticky, sugary, and cloying. The skunked hops are here too, violating my mouth. This is almost undrinkably bad. How, Suntory? You had the advertising and know how (or maybe not) and you missed the mark by a nautical mile. Avoid at all costs.

Drain poured.

A 305ml pull cap bottle with a best before date of April 2017, poured into a Moonzen teku glass.

Appearance: It poured a wonderful clear golden orange colour with a slightly less than two finger white head that dissipated quickly and left some sparse lacing.

Aroma: On the light side, but there’s sweet malt, biscuit, grass, caramel and a touch of lemon.

Taste: Sweet malt, grain, grass, floral notes, lemon, apple and honey.

Mouthfeel: Medium to light bodied with moderate carbonation.

Overall: If only Suntory made their beers as good as their whiskies… Master’s Dream was easy to drink and was not bad, but at the same time nothing special either.

Appearance : Golden yellow color.

Aroma & Taste : A round bitterness , and then nothing . Malty / grainy aroma and taste. Average.

Overall : With a great name , but come out with average experience. This beer is somehow expensive than other Suntory beer.
