500ml bottle.
L: Light haze, pale orange/amber colour, a few streams of bubbles and a spotty head.
S: Faint butterscotch aroma. Wish it was stronger.
T: Rich caramel plus jammy, orange, apricot and grapefruit flavours. Soft bitterness. Nicely balanced malt and hops in the English style.
F: Medium body, light carbonation, chewy, slick mouthfeel.
O: A very nice-drinking English IPA. Malty but with plenty of new world hops (NZ?). Excellent, smooth & rich mouthfeel. Moreish.

Straw colour; orange and lemon nose with maybe a hint of caramel. This has a sweet sherberty start but then a more tart lemon flavour takes over with nocaramel taste apparent.

On cask at the Belfast Beer Festival, 2012
Hazy goldenrod with no head.
Lemon juice and snap wheat cracker nose.
Ciabatta, toffee, papaya, and orange-mango smoothie up front with oily lemon and starfruit hops.
Grapefruit rind finish and waxberry linger.
More fruit than expected but real bite at the same time. This is my first time knowingly tasting Horizon hops – seemingly high alpha acids yet low co-humulone means lots of oily floral intricacies without the IBUs. Which is true here.
2nd tasting: Pineapple nose, tart Juicyfruit/melon-papaya hit, and lots of salt. Top aroma-hopped Brit IPA; bumping the aroma score to show this.
Lovely, clean IPA.
