Bottle from Safeway. Medium golden /amber with small skin of head. Aroma is grainy and musty. Taste is mildly hoppy, bitter, bready., but overall kind of weak. Nothing special here.

Gold draft pour with white head; good lacing and clarity. Citrus/pine nose and flavors. Lite mouthfeel. Ok overall.

Poured two fingers of head on a clear, amber colored body.
The aroma is grapefruit, orange, and cottage cheese (weird).
The taste has a strong grapefruit and lemon bitterness beginning to end. Nothing subtle about this.
The texture is crisp with soft edges and moderate carbonation.
It's a bit bold on the bitter side without any balance or complexity.

This poured out as a nice hazy yellowish gold color. The head retention was pretty good, the lacing was decent also. The smell of the beer has a nice hoppy aroma, rather fresh and lively on the nose. The taste of the beer is a little more malty than bitter. The bitterness comes in subtly in the finish. The mouthfeel of the beer was clean and crisp, decent carbonation and drinkable. Overall this beer was nice to try. Not something I'm dying to try again but still a nice little rare treat to have here in the east.
