Smell: Bready, coriander and maybe nutmeg. The overall intensity of the aroma is remarkably low however.

Taste: Very sweet orange....not juicy, more like an orange oil or extract taste. Coriander, brown sugar, blunted citrus peel bitterness, bready. Mouthfeel is viscous. Finish Is syrupy with lingering orange flavors.

On-tap at Beachwood BBQ, called Moylan's Marzen, assuming it's the same beer,

A: Pours amber, typical marzen colour with a small white head, bit of chill haze, average retention, spotty lacing.

S: Light, but I got distinct Munich malt with a light earthy hop notes.

T: A sweet fest with not a huge amount of hops to balance it. Light grassy notes, almost doppel like in the amount of sugar, but still tastes to style.

M: Nice soft mouthfeel gives it easy drinkablity. Light/medium body, smooth and creamy with a sweet aftertaste.

D: A nice brew from Moylan's. Not the best marzen I've ever had, but a solid version of the style. No problems drinking this one.

On draught at Belmont Station, served in a shaker pint, 6.4% ABV.

Appearance is a chilled hazed bright rust, with a small off-white head.

Smell is soft, sweet and spicy, caramel malt and apricot.

Taste is very clean, semi-sweet melanoidin maltiness, light waxiness, grassy hops, tasty and straightforward.

Mouthfeel is slick and light-bodied.

Drinkability is pretty high, this is a tasty, easy drinking fest bier I could drink by the liter. Perhaps a bit forgettable, it's nevertheless a tasty example of a märzen style oktoberfest.

Deep amber color, thin off white head that really did not last too long. lacing was minimal. Not too much aroma, the usual sweet malt as typifies this style. taste was sweet malt with a bit more hop than usual, a bit spicy as well, not bad. As far as Octoberfest beers go it's middle of the road. Not great, not bad. Worth a try if you like the style.
