A deep golden, almost orange pour out of a waxed bomber. Very cloudy with a huge, frothy off-white head that disappears quick, but leaves significant lacing behind.
Aroma is sweet bready malts initially. Then grassy, floral, and citrus hops. It has a slight skunkiness to it reminiscent of some Euro lagers.
A lot of sweet carmel malts up front to match the nose. Then the hops remind you it's a west coast brew. Surprising amount of citrus. More sweet than sour. Pineapple and tons of mango. The sweetness from the fruit is almost candy like. Still some classic pine flavor too. Solid bitter aftertaste. I didnt check the abv, but alcohol is not noticeable.
Very creamy, full bodied IPA. It leaves a nice oily resin coating on your tongue. Carbonation is just about perfect.
This is a kick-ass, well balanced monster of an IPA. I would have called this a mod west style DIPA at first glance and smell, but it really is a hybrid midwest, and west coast, with a touch of east coast. This is world class in my opinion, and one of the top 10-15 IPA/DIPA/TIPAs I have had. Surprised by some of the scores.

Bottle from HomeBrewStuff. Dark golden airy head subsides to thin skin. Straight forward hoppy aroma. Taste is also all about the hops, sharp and biting. Malts carry this hop bomb to the finish line .for a minute there, I swore I was in Knee Deep territory...

On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Hazy orange colour, low white head. Strong hoppy aroma, notes of oranges, grapefruit and pine. The flavour has some malty sweetness, but not more than needed to balance the intense hoppy character, with notes of oranges, grapefruit and resin. Bitter finish, of course. Warming mouthfeel.

Poured from a brown 22 oz. bottle. Has a cloudy, orange/beige color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is dank, herbal, malts, light citrus. Taste is bitter, dank, resin, some malts, just a touch of alcohol, did I mention bitter? Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall, if you are looking for a hop bomb, you will find it here.

Aroma is very spicy/dank hops and citrus/fruit. The flavor is citrus, fruit, grapefruit, malts, mild tropical fruit and a mix of spicy hops, bitterness and slight sweetness in the finish.

Poured from 22 oz bomber into snifter. No bottle date, but was told it was bottled on 1/26.
A: Clear golden Amber with 2 finger white head. Nice retention and leaving some moderate lacing.
S: Big dank, earthy and floral hops dominant the nose. Grapefruit, oranges, and pine cones.
T: Full on hop assault without being overly bitter. Some citrus with grapefruit and orange peel. Pine and herbal hops. Alcohol is reasonably well hidden here.
M: Medium body with fairly light carbonation and oily hops resins coating the tongue.
O: If you are a fan of big beers and big hops, then this would be right up your alley. Recommended for sure if you can find it fresh.
