It is clear, pale straw in color with a delicate hop aroma and not much of a head. There body is relatively thin and it is slight grainy. It finishes crisp and clean with an appetizing bitterness. A great way to start the meal or warm up the palate. Not their best beer, but it is quite drinkable.

Around a medium body with about the same for carbonation.
Aroma was malts, cereal, earthy floral hops, and some light citrus.
Taste had a very light sweetness otherwise it was very similar to the aroma.
It was a solid beer that was very enjoyable.

Deep gold and bright with a small white head and good retention. Sweet bready malt aroma with light earthy hops. It's light on flavor but has enough body (medium-light) to not feel too thin. Well balanced and easy to drink.
Not the most exciting Helles (and, yes, Helles can be exciting) but it gets the job done. A straightforward example of the style with room for improvement before it reaches the level of its German counterparts.

A: The beer is crystal clear yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a short white head that died down, leaving a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of bready and buttery malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste mostly follows the smell, but seems to be more buttery. A slight amount of bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This Munich Helles Lager is very bright and buttery. It is an interesting twist on the style.
