This was round #2 on 10Sep10.... This stout was a deep, opaque brown. The head was thin and tan, ebbing quickly but leaving decent lacing. Aroma had some choco and roasty notes, with subtle fruitiness also present. The feel was quite smooth, though the body was a little thin.
Choco notes are again evident in the flavor, along with roasted malt flavors. Estery characteristics come in, with some fruity apple and tropical fruit action. An interesting bier! A stout made with a Belgian yeast... hmmmm....
Prosit!!
