On nitro draft
Dark brown almost black, opaque, thick cream colored head from the nitro pour. Aroma is roasty and bitter cocoa. Taste is similar, not sure I would pick up the woody character if I didn't know it was in the brewing process. Fuller bodied and smooth feel.

Cask version at James Wood Foundry. Not much on the bouquet - faint hint of malt and dark roast coffee. Mouth feel was smooth, but could be due to the agitation from the cask tap. Very thick, creamy light tan head. Head thickness definitely due to the cask tap. First sip is savory, somewhat salty. Settled over the tongue with chocolate, dark roast coffee, and tart berries. Very smooth finish with very little after taste. Overall great brew!

On tap @ Dean Street. Nitro edition. :D
Matte black body, with a half inch of semisolid brown creme for head.
Smell is a little muted. Char, dusty dark malt, nut shells.
Semi-sweet, toasty, charred mallow, husk-y, earthy sort of bitterness. Very peanuty as it warms.
Velvety nitro, but slightly sticky, turning runny as it "melts". Noticable abv, but very quafable regardless. Quality sweet stout. Goes great with homemade biscuits & copious amounts of butter.

On-tap at Kelso Brewery, Brooklyn, NY
A: The beer is hazy, very dark brown in color. It poured with a short beige head that left some lacing on the surface and a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of nutty malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste has lots of flavors of nutty malts.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer tastes like a hybrid between a nut brown ale and a stout.
Serving type: on-tap
