12oz bottle into pilsner glass.

Hazy deep goldenrod hue with a one finger white head that slowly settles to a thin cap. Little bits of sediment floating around.

Very light and sweet malt aromas, along with a slight creaminess. The flavor has a light sweet grain flavor mixed with a bit of orange peel. Light bodied.

This is a very basic beer, and on the better side of the style. Not quite like Budweiser but more like a Heineken.

Appearance- This lager is a golden amber with medium carbonation in the body rising to form a large head.

Smell- A nice sweet malty odor was the first thing I noticed. It smelled like biscuits.

Taste- I was surprised the flavor was very fruity and citrus like for a non fruit beer. There was some very strong berry like tones even in the aftertaste.

Mouthfeel- It has average lager crispness to it and a little fizz bite to it.

Drinkability- It wasn’t what I would really call a regular lager but it was good and I would have to say very refreshing.

Single, twelve ounce bottle copped from Sparrow Wine and Liquors in Hoboken...
Pours a dark-gold, light-copper colored hue with a decent sized foamy head that slowly receded and left a thin film of lacing around the edge of the serving glass...
Malt-dominated, nutty aroma with hints of vanilla and honey...
Crisp, medium-bodied, refreshing taste, heavy on the malts, with a touch of honey, vanilla, nuts, bread and butter, and sugars...
Medium-bodied, crisp mouthfeel along with a good level of drinkability to match... Not the company's best brew, but a decent stab at the style nonetheless...

a: super clear amber color with a 1.5 finger solid white head. a few bubbles streaming up from the bottom

s: it has a super clean lager smell. dough, slight sweet malt, and a grassy/earthy note

t: taste follows the line of what i was expecting. big dough notes upfront. i'm definitely tasting some grassy grainy notes as well

m: mouthfeel is a bit bigger than i expected actually. i thought it would be pretty light, but is a solid medium. not much carbonation

o: it is what it is. it tastes of a light lager, and doesn't branch out much from there. easy to drink, super smooth, but its average at best

The beer pours a pale gold color with a thick frothy white head that quickly fades to lacing. The aroma is average. It has a grainy pale malt scent along with a rice aroma. It is light on hops and seems quite dry. The taste is decent. It has a grainy pale malt flavor that is weak and watery, but at least it tastes like beer unlike most macros. It goes down easy and finishes sweet and slightly dry. The mouthfeel is fine. It is a low bodied beer with good carbonation. This is a decent lager. It has pretty good flavor, but the appearance and aroma need to be tweaked a little. All in all, it's a good drinker.

12 fl. oz., poured into a pint glass.

Sometimes, I think I should have been born British – I absolutely love the feel of a good, solid pint glass in my hand. I love pouring a great beer into it. I love its heft, its shape, the way a beer tastes in it – it’s a truly wondrous thing. And now, it’s time to taste and review a beer…

A: Good color, not outstanding, but good. It’s a reasonable mix of gold and orange, produces a 2 cm wheat-colored head with a reasonable pour. The head doesn’t even last a minute before dissolving, leaving almost nothing on the sides.

S: Okay – I’m picking up hops, a bit of lemon, a little grassiness – I’m trying to catch something from the malt side, but am experiencing no joy. It’s making me wonder what I’m in for during the tasting.

T: It’s an interesting taste – I’m getting hops, grass, orange, lemon, and a very subdued sweetness from the malt. Nothing is overpowering, everything plays well together. I’d have expected a watery taste to it, but not really. I have to give it props.

M: Good, I could be talked into really good, but not quite very good. It’s light-bodied, but it’s well-carbonated, and it goes well over the palate, leaving a light hop finish. It’s even slightly chewy, if that makes sense.

O: It’s a good beer, makes for a good session beer. I could see enjoying a few of these bad boys, hanging out with my beer geek buddies while grilling meat. It’s perfect with a nice salty piece of food. Cheers.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a pint glass.

Pours cloudy hazy light amber with initial finger of foam that settles. Some lacing.

Mild smell, light hoppy grassy notes.

Taste is clean, crisp and refreshing. Big gulper.

Tasty lager, very smooth.

Could drink a bunch of these. Not overly complex, but an easy going well made lager.

Reviewed from notes. Originally consumed 12/23.

A-Pours a hazy gold/orange color with a mininal head.

S-Smells of sweet grain and floral hops.

T-Follows the nose exactly with sweet grain and floral hops.

M-Thin bodied with medium to heavy carbonation.

D-This is one that's really quite easy to drink. I could see having quite a few of these in a night, even more so if the taste was a little more complex.

Poured from 12oz bottle into a Pilsner glass.

Appearance: golden hue with a touch of haze and tons of effervescence. Head poured two thick fingers of pillowy white foam. Normally I expect this style to be crystal-clear, but since the bottle says this beer is unfiltered, I guess I can cut them a little slack. It actually looks quite appetizing.

Smell: light, slightly grainy malt with some earthy and slightly spicy hops present. Not too bad, if a bit mild.

Taste: light, sweetish malt with some noble hop flavor and a little bit of bitterness. There's a bit of an aftertaste to it which is kind of sour and grainy, but other than that it's a pretty solid tasting pale lager.

Mouthfeel: light body but great carbonation. Pretty creamy for a beer of the style.

Overall: a decent if unspectacular pale lager. The initial flavor is great but the aftertaste takes a bit of the shine off of this beer for me.

Reviewed on 8/27/09. Bottle. Pours a semi-cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma of sweet floral hops, lagery carboardy malt. Flavor is sweet initially with citrus and light fruits and a malty finish. Pretty decent beer and great for a pale lager. Very refreshing.

12 oz bottle from a variety pack. Pours slightly hazy-golden with a medium lasting white head and lively carbonation. Aroma is of biscuit malt and grassy hops. Body is medium and crisp. Biscuit malt balanced on the palate by herbal, grassy hops. Finish is medium lasting, semidry. Nice lager, I would definitely buy it again.
