My go to liqour, wine and beer store in the area. Craft selection pretty good for the area. 2 long isles of beer, endcaps plus a row of refrigerated cases. All of the major craft brewers represented through either bottles or cases.
Cold 4/6 pack selection modest in size. The rear endcap houses large format bottles. One long isle features 6 and 12 packs from local, regional and domestic craft breweries. Tucked around the other isles are imports and macros. 1 endcap at the front houses the selection for mix a six - quite modest selection. Another endcap contains lots of limited large format bottles.
It seems that every week they are hosting a brewer or distributor who is giving away free pours and heavily discounting their beer (recently purchased $3 bombers from this special). Prices generally very good - especially when compared to PA.

This is the closest store to my home so I'm here quite a bit. The beer is always within date. It is fresh, and there is a good mix between what is refrigerated and what isn't. The service is always good. There is always someone there to answer questions, carry cases if you need help, and to ring you out quickly and pleasantly. The management listens to suggestions and adds beers all the time.
There are two full two-level racks of mostly local microbrews and better imports, including a smallish selection of Belgians and a large selection of UK beers. The German selection is very nice with bocks, double bocks, hefes, Oktoberfests, and lagers all represented. They even had a Rauch bier that I hadn't seen since being in Germany.
I would like to see more West Coast and Midwest micros, but this is a small store that has to cater to the wide tastes of the community. It is the only real package store in Delran so most of the town shops here. I like that they add new beers quite often, and they carry the full line of Victory products.
By suggestion, they have begun to add a few West Coast beers to great acclaim by their clientele so I'm expecting to see more show up on the shelves.
Edit: I had to re-visit this review, because Joe Canal's in Delran has really stepped up its selection. The beer people are willing to take suggestions and get the beer if they can, and are featuring more 750 ml "special" beers, including Abbaye de Rocs Grand Cru and Nostradamus. They have also begun carrying an assortment of Three Floyd's beers, and seem to have a better relationship with Victory and Weyerbacher. Over all, I'm very pleased with the commitment they have made to increasing their selection.
