enjoying at eindhoven airport, i actually think this is a reasonably nice triple, maybe a little idiosyncratic, quite boozy, but has a nice brown bread malt base, complemented well by belgian yeast flavours, spice, orange zest, vanilla, black pepper, honey, caramel, a certain herbal earthiness to it, light to medium bitterness on the finish, medium bodied with medium carbonation, it’s quite drinkable really

De Belgiuminabox. En copa Grimbergem. Jugando a Ori and the Will of the Wisps. Buena tripel, no resultando nada pesada sino todo lo contrario: es suave y fácil de beber, y presenta un agradable toque ligeramente herbal

330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 8.7%. Clear and deep golden colour, large white head. Aroma of gruut spices, kandij sugar and Belgian ale yeast. Medium sweet and spicy flavour with the same elements as the aroma, low bitterness.

Nice, fizzy pour. Yellow. Great head.
Yeasty, peppery aroma. Bright and pleasantly spicy.
Flavorful and very straightforward. Cloves, white pepper, bread, flowers.
Well done but forgetable.

Clear gold with coppery reflections, the foam is compact white with a large texture and good persistence. On the nose, candied sugar, light caramel, yellow fruit and spiciness. On the palate there is a sweet entrance where the malt plays the starring role, then turns to a slightly drier and bitter soil with herbaceous and spicy notes. Medium body and high carbonation. Well marked ABV.

L- Quite a rich amber colour, very slight haze (+ minor sediment left in bottle). Head 3Cm pillowy white + holds very well.
S- Sour and spicy.
T- Follows the Smell^. There is a mildly sour and bitter edge with a spicy note and what follows is a deep and broad pungent meaty flavour usual of the Tripel style, though perhaps just a touch sweeter than average. The sour edge is now coming through as a rich bitter citrus, reminding me of full-flavoured orange marmalade. That's one facet though and fleeting/changing within the mix.
F- It's many things rich, spicy, deep, with a light sour note, they come together into a nice balance.
O- Very nice, pretty full-on for me to drink too often/too much, but this style is an occasional treat and well suited for slow-suppin' in winter. Good flavour and well balanced. I'd happily buy and enjoy this again.
Bought from BelgiumInABox.com (together with 100+ other beers :)) for home delivery to the UK. 330ml bottle BB: 27/08/2021

Had a 0.33l bottle at Gollemke in Antwerp on 25SEP19. Cost was €4.70.
Was a bright, clear golden-hued brew, with steady carbo. Had a striking, white head. Sat at about 1/4" , with nice lacing left behind. Nose was dry and crackery, with some spice and light fruit. Body was medium, and it had some light prickle on the tongue.
Taste was more crackery action, with pils-like malts, light sweetness and green apple and pear. It had some yeasty, spicy notes in the dry finish. Not bad, all-in-all. Prosit!

Cerveza con dos dedos de espuma que tarda en desaparecer. Cuerpo y carbonatación media. Aroma a malta y cítricos. En boca es refrescante, con un ligero dulzor y con la presencia de naranja y cilantro.

330ml bottle into the branded glassware, here in the namesake Belgian city of the beer, Brugge.
Clear yellow golden, massive rocky white head that holds it's form above the glass brim. Herbal and spicy aroma, pale malt. Similar flavorz, just as expected for the style. Peppery, and not boozy. Thinner bodied.
