Purchased as a single bottle from The Blue Door for $6.00. Poured into a proper glass mug.

L - One-finger pale white head follows a clear copper pour. Head goes away pretty fast.
S - Corn flakes, biscuit, and a sweet floral note.
T - Strong honey on the start. Light earthiness. Dry, almost fruity finish.
F - Refreshing. Clean. Not filling at all, and easy-to-drink. I could easily drink twelve of these in one sitting.
O - Not the most interesting beer, but super drinkable and inoffensive. Tasty, too. Would make a fantastic lunch beer. Would definitely buy again. Give it a try.

I love this beer. I really like the older Marzen style for Oktoberfest, and so I was suspicious of the newer, lighter Festbier style of this beer. Pours a dark yellow. Head falls to thin layer. Smells a bit grainy and metallic, but not much aroma. Malty, bready, but with a small, bitter note that fades. The aftertaste opens up, and feels well-rounded, balanced, and delicious. Smooth mouthfeel, light carbonation.

Hazy, dirty straw colored with a light foamy head. Smell is wet and grainy and fruity; a bit of pear and plum, yeast, and caramel. Taste follows. Fruit and caramel upfront, then slightly bitter floral hops in the body, and a slightly soured wheat finish. Feel is smooth, carbonation moderate.
Got six at 4 bucks a few months after bottling, so maybe it’s past it’s prime. Still plenty enjoyable, though.

Cooper amber on the pour, with slight head and ample lacing. Aroma is slight whiff of bread. Taste is bready malts and crackers, finish is crisp and clean. A solid festbier. Not my favorite, but in the conversation....

12 oz. bottle, looks like it was bottled May 18, 2022, expiration August 18, 2023. My first beer from this brewery, and my first beer listed under the style of Festbier, which according to BeerAdvocate is the modern day equivalent to an Oktoberfestbier, so that's what I'm expecting.

Poured into Brasserie D'achouffe stemware.

A - Pours a coppery amber orange body, some ok clarity, and little over a finger's worth of frothy khaki head. Looks pretty good.

S - Nose brings in some crisp bready malts, with slight notes of mineral water & coppery metallics. Soft notes of cream, earth, green apple come through. Pervasive mineraly well water type aroma throughout. A little dusty.

T - Taste brings the same; some crusty bread malts, green apple, herbal earth, mineral water. Notes of cream & green apple linger on the finish. The bottle does say this was brewed with hop extracts in addition to actual hops, but any fresh or piney, or i guess "American" hop flavors are absent. Typical taste per the style I'd say.

M - Feel is smooth, medium-light in body, easy drinking. Apt carbonation. I just burped.

Overall, an easy drinking beer from this German brewery, I'd be interested in trying more from them, and also in trying more beers listed under the Festbier heading. A nice intro the this style.

12oz bottle into a pint glass. Bottled 5/10/22, so 4 months old.

Looks nice enough, clear golden amber body with a decent white head. This persists in lesser form throughout leaving scattered lacing.

Malty aroma with a touch of old bread.

On tasting, clean, slightly sweet, smooth, mostly malty with a fleeting hop note.

Mouth above medium, finish slightly drying.

Overall, while not unpleasant, and quite clean, it doesn't have the character of the better festbiers.

From the bottle, it pours a clear amber color with a nice white head that slowly reduces as it is being replenished by a nice stream of bubbles from the bottom and leaves lacing. The nose gets as dose of light malt. The mouth gets the same, an easy drinking malty brew.

Simply speaking this is a very nice Festbier, and in such it’s a nice alternative to endless Märzen that are presented to us as Oktoberfestbeer. In recent years (meaning: decades), beer style at the actual Oktoberfest, at other fall beerfests such as Stuttgarter Wasen etc. have shifted from the heavy, dark and sweet Märzen towards the more easily drinkable Festbier style. In Germany at most of these events, Festbier is what everyone drinks. Märzen has become a niche in that regard. My personal preference is (by far) the Festbier style, and not the Märzen.
If you want to compare to understand what that difference actually is, get a sixer of Paulaner Oktoberfest Beer and a sixer of Oktoberfest Märzen. Both good, I just happen to line the non-Märzen better. Allgäuer Büble Festbier is a very nice example of this style.

A nice amber color that seems to be hazy like an IPA but without the bite back of a hoppy bier. It keeps a foamy head and has a smooth taste. In keeping with fest style biers i recommend drinking a liter glass...or two!

Allgäuer Brauhaus AG "Allgäuer Büble Bier Festbier"
12 fl. oz. brown glass bottle "Best before: P.02.06.2021 E.02.09.2022 L0206031425" and sampled on 17.06.22
$2.79 @ Foodery Beer, Phila., PA

Notes via stream of consciousness: It's poured a clear deep amber body beneath a finger's width of off-white foam. The aroma is gently malty with bready notes and a touch of caramel backed by softly herbal hop notes. On to the taste... it's fuller than the aroma suggests but it basically follows suit. The malt is lightly sweet, grainy, bready, and softly caramelish and the hops are softly herbal and spicy. A moderate to median bitterness balances it and it finishes with just a dollop of sweetish malt lingering amidst spicy, grassy, and herbal hops that eventually fade to leave just bitterness behind. In the mouth it's medium bodied and smooth with a moderate, fine-bubbled carbonation. The lacing held up well and it's left some nice lacing with wide patches surrounded by smaller streaks and spots. It's readily accessible and highly quaffable because it straddles the fence between being delicate and being satiating.

12 oz bottle, poured into a weissglass at ~40 degrees F.

L: Poured a pale honey gold, and formed a thick, fluffy white head with excellent retention. Spotty lacing, with noticeable rings.

S: Crisp, clean, straw and biscuit with a light floral tinge.

T: Also crisp and clean, very subtle on flavor. Biscuit malts, light pear, faint white grape, a suggestion of honey.

F: Very light-bodied, almost watery but not quite.

O: Not bad. Not a standout, but quite refreshing.

Poured from a brown 12 oz. bottle. Has a dark golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is mild, some bready malts. Taste is the same as the aroma, some caramel is present, light hops as well. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a pretty good beer.

12 ounce bottle, packaged 02.06.21, best by 02.09.22 stamped on the back label. Possible it was packaged in June 2021 since European brews sometimes goes day/month on their packaging but I'm not 100% sure of that. Thanks to Brutaltruth for this! Served in a dimpled mug, the beer pours a clear dark gold color with about an inch white head. Head retention and lacing are both good. Aroma is nice, it's a sweet smelling brew that smells mostly like biscuity/bready malt, along with some honey and floral/earthy hops. Taste is pretty much just like the aroma, but there's also some caramel noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it's smooth and easy to drink with a good amount of carbonation. Typically I like Märzen style Oktoberfests more than I do Festbiers, but this one is good! Definitely worth trying if you get the chance!

12 oz. bottle from the packaged 2/6/21 release. This is the first time I noticed the Festbeer in our shops.
Clear copper color with three fingers varied cream head. Full lacing curtain and longlasting cap.
Strong honey bread, corn, floral hop aromas.
Well balanced spicy hop, caramel, light grape flavors.
Substantial body, dry finish, good bitterness. Easy drinking.
This has been a good year for distinctive festbeers appearing on tap and store shelves. Hope the trend continues.

From the bottle in a snifter. This excellent fest pours a clear
light amber / brass color with a fantastic head of white foam that
settles to a thick ring, thin dusty layer, and shows some excellent
lacing. Nose of floral hops, honey sweet malt, toffee, and light breaded
malts. Flavors exceed the nose with a fine presentation of light
breaded malts amongst some floral and light herbal hops amidst
light toffee and caramel malt notes. Nice mouth feel; medium light
carbonation that is nice and soft, medium light to light body, and
finishing lightly dry, faintly herbal, and lightly sweet.

An excellent fest, not sure what the hate is about, I'm on my
3rd six pack of it if that says anything!

Cheers

A new one for me. Have had other Allgäuer beers before, but the Büble Fest is a new one.

12 ounce import -- interesting. Packaged 02.06.21, Expires 02.09.22. Poured into my tall Becher.

L -- Clear, deep brassy gold with a dense, firm white head that leaves good lacing.

S -- Mellow herbal hops with light DMS and a bready malt backbone -- even some melanoidin showing.

T -- Good blend of herbal hops and bready melanoidin with the first swallow. There's a dry yeasty character very reminiscent of Paulaner Amber Märzen. Finish is spicy bitterness and nice melanoidin character in the aftertaste. The hop bitterness is bolder than the malts, but it still invites another gulp. There's also an underlying white grape note, common in German beers using good malts and a good mash.

M -- Mouthfeel is soft to slightly syrupy with a crisp, dry finish. Body is light-medium to medium.

O -- A little different take on Festbier with its hop note being a bit more prominent than usual -- maybe a bit too hop-heavy for my tastes in Festbier, but it's a great drinker and doesn't stunt the palate. A Fest/Märzen hybrid with its color and body. Worth a try for its good malt character.

Perfectly clear bronze body with tow fingers of frothy white head. This was the highlight of the beer. Nose has skunkiness atop caramel malts, sweet corn and sweet grains. Taste is worse, euro macro malts, corn, sickly sweet caramel notes and light herbal skunk on the finish. Feel is thin, watery, malty, skunky, flat, and short lived on the palate. It's a bad festbier, pass on it
