Set in a strip mall on the corner of Arrow Hwy and Valley Center Ave, San Dimas Liquor has been hiding in plain sight. Within a five minute walk from where I live, I've never even noticed it until last night.
From outside, this store looks like your garden variety corner liquor store. Inside, in the right rear corner, is a decent, albeit not massive, selection of most every style out there. On the shelves and in the coolers were offerings from Anderson Valley (including the hard-to-find Deep Enders Porter), Anchor (Steam, Porter, and 2003 X-mas Ale), Unibroue (Trois Pistoles, Terrible, Ephemere Apple, and Blanche de Chambly), Lost Coast, North Coast (Old Rasputin, Old #38 Stout, Pranqster, and Ruedrichs Red Seal), Flying Dog, and a number of other quality craft brews.
On the foreign import side, there was Affligem Dubbel and Tripel, Delirium Tremens, Chimay (red, white, and blue labels), Duvel, Fullers 1845 and ESB, Sam Smiths Oatmeal Stout, Organic Ale, and Winter Welcome, Youngs Double Chocolate Stout, Dirty Dick's Ale and Ram Rod Ale, and Wychwood's Hobgoblin. Not much in the way of German brews aside from Beck's and Spaten.
The staff was very helpful and friendly. I was approached within minutes of entering and asked if I needed any help finding something. When I said I was looking around, the staffer said if they could order most anything I wanted and pointed out some of their better items. He also stated they were looking to bring in more Belgian beers. He was also generous in allowing me to bust up a couple 6-packs. I ended up walking out with a bomber of Deep-enders Porter and a mixed 6pk of Lost Coast's Indica IPA and Flying Dog's IPA.
San Dimas Liquor is a pleasant surprise. It's close to home, has a nice selection of quality beers, and a friendly staff. Glad I finally noticed.

Storefront liquor store in small strip shopping center on the west side of town. Fair selection of regionak offerings, but limited selection of single cans. Although they've got a full aisle of bombers.

Good place to go if you don't feel like waiting in line for fifteen minutes just to buy a twelve pack at the grocery store. Selection is decent and the prices aren't bad. They have alot of craft beers on hand as well as the usual suspects. I would like to see them carry alot more local brews though; Dale Bros., Bayhawk, Hangar 24. Overall it's a decent place. Really good "break in case of emergency" store. Parking can be a pain in the ass and the Lotto junkies can be a bit much at times.

The selection had a few beers you can't get at the average store. Those beers included a few chimays, duvel, some seirra nevada's. I think that they must break up their beers constantly becasue there were a few "four packs" that had either one or two beers left in them. Disappointing considering the previous reviews. I dont mean to sound so harsh, I will give the place another go in a few months maybe they got some more beers in. There, that was nice and hopefully sanded off a little of the unpleasant sound of the review.
