I didnt know how many locations this pub had in the Columbus area until looking at the beerfly. This is the only location I have visited as it is the most convenient.

Parking is hit or miss. The restaurant is located in a small strip of other bars and eateries. If parking isnt available right in front then you have to find a spot on the street or go around back. They have a back door for people parking in the rear.

Inside you will most likely be seated by a charming old woman who wears two different shoes. She must buy two pairs of every shoe.

There are lots of cool and interesting old beer cans on display, many of which are from old defunct American breweries.

The beer list is what I would have once called above average but recently I have noticed that nearly all restaurants in the Columbus area have been making a real effort at stocking good beer. They have 90min, Commodore Perry (we got a free GLBC glass for ordering this) Boddingtons and a few other American craft and beers from the UK.

Food is good, there are many pubs in the city that emulate traditional English/Scottish/Irish pubs. My favorite part of the menu here is the all you can eat fish and chips.

I mostly go here for the food. The beer is an added bonus.

I can't believe how many bag of nails pubs that have been built around central Ohio. This one in Grandview was very quaint. There are cans and old bottles all over the walls with old street signs and funny posters. Has somewhat of a TGI Fridays or Max & Ermas type feeling.

I had the Great Lakes Commodore Perry, and the wife had a Blue Moon. Decent slection on tap with the same good pub style food that you would find at any location. The service is usually pretty good, and the servers know their beers better than most servers typically do.

This location in Grandview is notable for the collection of steel beer cans in glass cases in the bar area--true artifacts of "beer culture." The beer selection is decent, all the pub brews, always accompanied by the seasonal Bell's (or at time Two Hearted Ale) and GLBC. They are also one of the few establishments in town that carries Old Speckled Hen on draft, served cascading. You won't find much in the way of craft beer in the bottle selection.

The service is friendly and informal. The food is solid bar fare--Fish and chips among the best in town. The portions generous. During happy hour all apps and drafts are 1/2 off. A good place to grab a decent pint and an inexpensive bite.

Located in the Grandview area of Columbus, this Old Bag of Nails pub is located in a small shopping center right on the street. There is a very small lot directly in front, as well as street parking nearby.

Inside, the bar area is on the left and the dining area is on the right. As with other Old Bag locations, there is a nice collection of vintage breweriana around - old cans, signs, etc. The bar is tucked away in the rear corner and has a fair amount of seating.

The beer selection is pretty good. The usual British Pub selections (Guinness, Harp etc) in bottles, along with some other selections from the likes of Young's and Fuller's. On tap there are a lot of standard beers but always some nice seasonals like GLBC Christmas and Bell's Winter White.

Service here is always good, probably because every time I have been here they are not that busy.

The food here is excellent, like every other location. The fish and chips is killer, and the sandwiches are great.

All in all you can't go wrong with any visit to one of the Old Bag of Nails pubs in the Columbus area. My heart still lies with the worthington location because the focus seems to be more on the pub than the restaurant, but you really can't go wrong with a visit to any of them.

I noticed that this particular Old Bag of Nails wasn't in the list, so I thought it best to add the one closest to my area. This is the one my friends and I usually go to. The atmosphere is your typical British/Irish pub style with the usual woodwork. The food is the upgraded pub style that makes it slightly different to compete in todays business. The beers tend more towards the British end with some added micros to round out both the tap and bottle end. It's the usual place I hit if I am in the Grandview Heights area of town.
