The colour is deep yellow with a tint of orange; the liquid is cloudy. The finger thick white head sinks quickly leaving no lacing.
The unclean smell is sweet and malty with distinct notes of yeast and dough. Hints of bananas, oil and wort.
Sweet yeast and metallic bitterness dominates the taste. Some dough and wheat flour. It is at the same time unclean and quite smooth. Medium body. The aftertaste got less yeast and more clean malt. Some honey and fresh bread. The finish is sweet and somewhat heavy.
The carbonation is light; the few small bubbles are long-lived. The liquid is smooth.
Not bad at all, but I prefer the filtered version as I find it more fresh and crispy.
