330 ml brown bottle, ABV is 5.3%. A trade with Ole_R, thanks! Deep golden colour, moderate head. Fruity hops in the aroma. Malty flavour, fairly sweet, a hint of honey, moderate hops.

Pours a clear light amber with soapy head.

Smell is clean, crisp and quite light. Notes of crackers, citrus and wheat dough with some floral and mineral hints.

Taste is clean, crisp and floral with a nice biscuity base. Slightly mineral with notes of citrus, crackers and some herbal hints. Solid bitterness.

Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated.

Overall, a classic, well made lager.

L- Quite dark amber, clear, 3mm fone white head. (later clears).
S- Quite bready.
T- It's subtle, perhaps in a Swedish way :)
F- It's a pretty meaty brew for 5.3%, it comes over as richer and a bit stronger than that. (The lable describes it as malty).
O- Very interesting to try, absolutely zero to object to here, but also little to differentiate it to travel to W1 and pay a premium to buy again.
Bought from Amathus, Wardour Street, London W1 £2.60/330ml. BB: 31/7/19

I did not enjoy this beer much as it came across as having a metallic taste to me
This was somewhat disappointing to me because I’ve had several beers from this brewery that I thought were all well done. Putting the metallic flavor aside, I found it to be a relatively mild lager. No bitterness, and more along the traditional hop profile found in an old school German or Czech lager, with some sweeter grainy notes.

In my travels through Scandinavia, I can get tired of drinking lagers... and tend to drink them as a last resort if others beers cannot be found. This God Lager better than the standard Euro lager fare. ("God" in Swedish is good.)

It has a nice gold hue. The aroma was marginal, with more malt. The taste brought in hops, but they stuck around too long in the aftertaste. Fortunately, God Lager was clean and crisp and went well with the fries; cutting the grease.

This beer is listed on the "1001" and, arguably, is not god enough to be there. That review said this is Nils Oscar's take on a Viennese style lager.

Bottle from rlgk, thanks Ronnie!

Pale yellow color with a decent white head.

Aromas of copper, bready malts, grassy hops and wood.

Malt goes along with leather and tobacco, becomes a little sweeter as taste lingers on the palate, toffeish, then gets rolled over by a very livley metallic carbonation. A soft touch of yeast adds smoothness to the mouthfeel, while barley and hops carry a zingy freshness.
