Pours a clear yellow with fine, soapy head.

Smell is bready and floral with notes of citrus, rye and some brewer's yeast.

Taste is crisp and bready with floral hints. Notes of citrus and a hint of tin. Moderate bitterness, pretty clean.

Mouthfeel is thin to medium, brightly carbonated.

Overall, a good lager, shame about the metallic hint.

Poured a golden yellow with a fairly-retained white foamy head.
The smell was thin, but had hints of floral and fruity hops.
The taste was fruity - like apple and a hint of citrus. It was a bit thicker than most European lagers or pilseners. Well-balanced hops with a small amount of sweetness. Hints of yeast in the background.
The mouthfeel/drinkability was clean and crisp with some fruitiness and a hint of hops in the aftertaste.
Too bad I can't find it around here. With all the good beers out there, I can't say I would get it on a regular basis, but would buy it as an occasional treat.
Thanks to a friend of mine for bringing it back from a business trip to Sweden for me!

Resolute golden hue, evident carbonation. White head, decent, even if not really compact.
The smell is malty, a little heavy, with hop notes, decent. Hints of herbal (radicchio?).
At the taste the carbonation is too much, and the taste is somewhat covered. Anyway, here too, a decent bitterness. Malty background, noticeable when the effect of carbonation goes away.
Light body.
Some heavyness in the aftertaste too, malty, and again hop.

The colour is golden yellow; the head is airy, white and two fingers thick.

The smell got lots of notes from aroma hops and a grand bitterness with notes of wood. There is also a sweet malty note. Well done!

The carbonation is just right, pleasing and fresh with small bubbles.

The taste is well balanced with lots of bitterness (Saaz hops?); a fine body with some honey in the malts make it very drinkable. The aftertaste is long with lots of fine bitterness.

The best German-style pilsner from Sweden? It might just be this one!

Pours a golden, all clear beer with a thick white foam that hastly leaves the glass. Quite some carbonation in there.

Smell is some citrus tone with malt dominating. Somewhat fresh and sour, just weak though.

Taste is sweet and malty. There is some fruityness together with a sugarlike sweetness. Finishes quite dry and thirst quenching, a little thin though.

Old Lundgren doesn't make it for me. I remembered sampling this beer like a year ago and thinking "wow". I guess things have changed.

Dont get me wrong, as a pale lager this is good, better than most other brews in this style from sweden. Noting impressive though, and i wont go out of my way to get a hold of this.

According to BJCP guidelines...

Aroma: citrusy floral hop aroma (saaz-like or maybe it is?), nice malt perfume to round it out.
Score: 8 of 12

Appearance: golden, brilliant clarity, nice white lustrous head immediately after pour, but no head retention (disappeared to a single, thin layer of bubbles).
Score: 2 of 3

Flavor: pleasing malt character (like fresh wort), very light hop flavor and a subtle bitterness in the dry finish. A pretty tight flavor profile, not a complex beer, soft.
Score: 14 of 20

Mouthfeel: good carbonation giving a fresh sensation, light bodied.
Score: 5 of 5

Overall impression: Though this is categorized as a "lager", it has all the hallmarks of a Bohemian Pilsner. If I had judged it as such it would have scored much higher. Judged as a lager, it falls a bit short. However, it is thirst-quenching and very drinkable, just not really profound.

The archetypal lager color a translucent straw or golden yellow, with the head impressive in size, creamy in its texture and brilliant white in color, the lace is thick and heavy sheets to coat the glass. Floral nose is somewhat of a surprise crisp and fresh, nice underlying malt tones also present a quite nose pleasing beer. Start is malt sweet with the top skinny and the finish sharply acidic, the hops robust in their spicy bite, also the aftertaste dry and long lasting. Personally I would say this is the "Most Hop Laden" Lager I have ever had the pleasure of drinking, and wish there we more like it.

Zero head!!!! Burnt aroma, resiny hops in there aswell. Kind a bitter-sweet flavour, similiar to Nils Oscar God Lager (from the same brewer). NIce hops and malts used, satisfying bitter finish, ever so slightly resiny. enjoyable little quaffer.
