My wife and I had dinner there earlier this week. Between the two of us, we had all four beers on tap. She enjoyed the wheat, me the dunkel, best, and the other two (original lager, holiday lager) were solid as well. I would need to do a head-to-head with the original and holiday, because I couldn't tell the difference.

The food (approx. $20/plate) was very good, and my wife truly enjoyed the roast chicken. I had the Hofbrauhaus platte, of which 2/3 of it was great (the other 1/3 being an average kielbasa). The food tasted great, was filling, and, for the most part, of good value. The food and beer does add up--about $135 in our case. Don't order anything without checking the price first: we ordered the "special pretzel" app, and I almost fell off my chair when it turned out to be $15.

I loved the atmosphere, just as raucous and fun as the HB in Kentucky. I don't know if they brew on site (as HB in Kentucky does), but I didn't wander around to find the tanks.

Service was attentive and friendly, but I had to lower the grade due to what I saw as excessive pimping of the gift shop by our waitress. Frankly, I'm not going to buy stuff at the gift shop just so you can win your internal contest about who gets tourists to buy the most swag. In fact, I was going to buy some swag, but to hear about the contest made me leave without spending a dime there. Reevaluate your marketing approach, please.

Have to say we came here just for the beers on 2 seperate occasions, while celebrating my 21st. If you come to Vegas do not leave without stopping here, some of the best German beer I've ever tasted and plenty to choose from. Also tried a little of their poached veil amd pork which was amazing, as well as their pretzels, just a little too salty for my liking. They had music and entertainment , plenty of bench tyle seating, tons of tvs and waiters to bring you whatever you'd like. Hofbräu original, must try !

Almost like the original. Close enough for Vegas. The best part is the German beer and the food.

Old school German Rathskeller vibe. Limited beer selection, great pretzels, big liter steins of good old German beer.

Let's get this straight; the only real reason to come to Hofbrauhaus Las Vegas is to drink a lot of good Hofbrau beer and have a rowdy time. You don't go to Octoberfest in Munich for the food, so don't come here for the food. Although the food isn't all that bad, it's not the main reason for coming here. That's left to the BOOTS of Hofbrau beer. Large, delicious boots of beer. But be careful, the waitresses have big paddles and will whack the he!! out of you..lol.. So sit in the beer hall, drink some real good beer, have a blast with friends - new, old or both - and remember to take a taxi home.

Everything about this place is fantastic! They really make you feel welcome and as if you are family. It is my favorite place on Earth...so far. :p

I'm partial to the Hofbrauhaus because I visited the original in Munich, and this simulation brought back great memories of the original. The food was great, the beer cold, and the service snappy. I just wish this location served Haxen (pork shank)!
