Formerly Loose Cannon - American Hop3 Ale
Burnished gold with a rich citrus hop aroma, it is wonderfully drinkable with a big hop flavor. We’ve knicknamed it Hop3 (hop cubed) ale to reflect the enormous amount of hops in this beer: over 3 pounds per barrel! It is hopped 3 ways: in the kettle, in the hop back, and dry hopped.

Date on bottle states to enjoy before June 3, 2017. Poured into pint glass.
Pours nice copper, amber color with minimal white head. Head goes away pretty quickly leaving a ring.
Nose picks up floral notes and citrus fruits. Not much of anything else. Slightly sweet.
The taste is pretty light. First sip gives me little bitterness upfront with cracker in-between with some oranges and tropical fruit and finishes with bitterness at the end and lingers. Bitterness taste is more from a grapefruit. Flavors are really light and not pronounced. As it warmed up it became sweeter and you could start tasting pineapple and clementines. More of the sweeter fruits and still finishes bitter.
Light bodies with a really good level of carbonation. Finishes dry. Great body for this beer.
This tastes very similar to a session IPA but with an ABV of 7.3% that is nowhere to be tasted. It refreshes and you forget you're drinking a heavy beer so it can creep up on you. I won't be picking this up as a daily drinker but ok for the beach.

12 ounce bottles into a can glass.
A Maryland go-to malty IPA. It’s a good drinkable choice every time!
