Formerly Loose Cannon - American Hop3 Ale
Burnished gold with a rich citrus hop aroma, it is wonderfully drinkable with a big hop flavor. We’ve knicknamed it Hop3 (hop cubed) ale to reflect the enormous amount of hops in this beer: over 3 pounds per barrel! It is hopped 3 ways: in the kettle, in the hop back, and dry hopped.

A - Pours a bit of burnt orange, somewhat cloudy. Light tan head sits nicely, and dissipates to a solid cap. Nice spiderweb of lacing all the way down the glass.
S - Intersting, get a orange creamsicle type aroma on this one. Immediate aroma is bigtime oranges and citrusy hops, very straightforward. Switches gears to a creamy, vanilla sweet maltiness.
T - Very nice, get ton of sweet hops up front, big orange flavor and tangerine, very juicy. The sweeter malts come in as expected from the aroma, can't say they were "vanilla", but definite butterscotch type tone.
M - A light to medium body on this one, somewhat prickly carbonation. Solid, but not anything earth shattering.
O - I was impressed, nice flavor profile, and the citrusy hops I prefer. Good balance, drinks like a "big" IPA to me. Reminds me of Two Hearted, not as well executed but in the conversation and easy to find on tap locally.

12 ounce bottles into a can glass.
A Maryland go-to malty IPA. It’s a good drinkable choice every time!

A heavy malty (not a New England) IPA.
