A wispy but fairly tall white head rises, though it falls only a little less quickly. Still, a pretty strong bubbly foam sticks it through and deposits some bubbles and spotting to the walls of the glass pretty well down.
Malts and hops are nicely balanced while this brew remains light in character. That doesn't mean weak, short on aromatics or flavorless, though. Some floral, grassy and leafy hops bitterness sit well against the sweetness of pale fruits, mostly pear and apple but with a little citrus coming in too. It adds a little zest as well as going pithy on the tongue. Some caramel adds a bit more sweetness on the tongue, but some dryness in the malts keeps it from being overdone and serves to add further balance.
This beer is crisp and light-bodied, refreshing with a bit of bite but still a good smoothness coming through on the tongue. It's semi-sweet, overall, with a sweetness lingering in the finish that's clean nonetheless.

The beer is served in a shaker pint glass clear reddish amber color with a 1/4" ivory head that recedes visibly to leave a bit of film on the surface and some modest lacing on the glass. Sipping creates scattered bits of lacing.

The aromas include some toasty caramel malt with some noticeable herbal hops.

The flavors are much as expected from the nose with the toasty malt and some herbal hops. In addition there's some sweetness with a touch of both citrus and spice.

The mouthfeel is medium bodied and smooth with some persistent carbonation. The finish begins as the sweetness and malt flavors begin to fade to leave the ending to the lightly spicy, herbal hops. While the ending does have some bitterness, it isn't particularly dry.

Glad to have tried this fresh and on tap and I certainly would be willing to have another if I find it again.

Mix a sixer, into a pint glass. 3/29

Pours bright golden light bottom to top. Some white foam settles out. Citrus malt nose, sunny. Taste is a light sweet malt, backed by a lemony tart. Smooth and flavorful, modest carbonation. Bright and sunny. Good beer to change seasons.
