Lovely witbier. Very citrusy (grapefruit) essence and slight and smooth texture. Nice heavy body, but still light on the palate. Gorgeous! I’m not a fan of the witbier style, but this could convert me....

Poured from 33cl bottle into trappist goblet. Three finger white head, down to one finger after three minutes. Some lacing, gold liquid, looks absolutely delicious.
Smells like hay, or grass. Not funky-barnyard, but fresh and floral.
The taste has a light floral hoppiness, light bitterness. There's some biscut maltiness, a bit of milky sweetness. Overall, subtle and balanced.
The mouthfeel is lovely, with tongue coating carbonation, and a light crisp finish.
If "Lorraine Blonde" ever becomes a style, this should be the standard. It hits the mark for which the world's lighter ales are aiming.

The colour is gold; the liquid is a little hazy. The low head quickly disappears into a thin white ring. No lacing.
The smell is spicy and a bit sour. Cardamom, cloves, nutmeg, oregano and a touch of cinnamon. Dry notes of wheat dough and raw meat. A touch of mint? Unusual and interesting flavors...
The label got a cow pattern, and guesses what: The beer does taste a little like the musty smell of a cowshed! Lots of cloves, cardamom and nutmeg. Some notes of cinnamon, allspice and roasted chesnuts. Musty earthy notes of yeast and chick-peas. The long lasting aftertaste is mildly earthy and sour with a blend of spices, nuts, and a hint of sweet citric fruits. The finish is tart.
The carbonation is medium to strong. The liquid is a bit smooth.
The first French "bière Blance" I have reviewed. As odd and fascinating as many of the Belgian wit beers.

Big bubbles make a reasonable head that disappears quickly. The body is of a pale golden opaque color. Hazy. The smell is very fruity: apples give it a cider aroma and sweet plums give it a sweet plum aroma. Citrus too. The taste is very refreshing, in accordance with the label that says you can drink this beer like wine. (the label is like the body to a cow, everything's connected, amazing). I can't explain why, but I got the impression of a craft taste, if that makes any sense. The taste is all about citrus and fruits: oranges, lemon, grapefruits, maybe the hints of apple and plum that were present in the smell. The mouthfeel is light, with a light fruity hop aftertaste. Very drinkable, although there's something in the smell that I can't define but that I don't really enjoy; maybe it's linked to the low level of carbonation.Still a decent beer.
