Upscale, after work kind of place, located in the met. life bldg,(part of Grand central station) Nice room, about 10 taps with a few rotating options ( a bklyn, a youngs etc etc.) also about 40 bottles, nothing amazing but decent I would say. Everybody should find something worth trying. They give you a plate of bread/salami and nuts, with your brew, which was a nice touch. didnt try the food, but its a semi-upscale list of typical pub grub. The stuff I saw passing by looked pretty good. A place worth trying if youve got some time to kill in GCentral. Only a few blocks from the G Man.

this is a great place to go and meet up with friends after work. they've got a great selection of beers...lots of belgian beers, germany beers and lambics. I also strongly recommend their signature burger.

It's an open air bar so the people watching is excellent.
The crowd is mainly the-after work type having a beer before they head home.

if you're not in the mood for bar food, a nice litte plus is that there's a great tapas restaurant to go to right down the street on vanderbilt ave. but only after you get a little saucy on one (or more) belgian tripels :)

Beer Bar At Cafe Centro .. I too am at Grand Central Station.... Dropped by for a good beer. Good bartender. Crowded and very loud.

Atmosphere: Not my style. Way too loud to talk. Young business types.

Quality: Good, clean, fastidious bartender.

Service: Good. Appreciated the nuts.

Selection: They had Delerium Tremens, Boddingtons, Sam Adams Winter Ale, and the standard beers found at real beer bars.

Boddington's was great and served in correct glass.
About 10 taps. $8 for the Boddingtons. A bit pricey, but Its right off Grand Central Station!
