Pale yellow in color with a slightly off white head that sticks around a little while. Tart, peachy, tropical fruit aroma with a hint of funk. Flavors similar with the yeast spice showing up more. Tropical fruit and slightly tart. Medium carbonation. Super easy to drink.

Had this in the taproom and during Funk Fest 2015. Beer was very balanced and tart/clean. Mild bit of funk, but this is not really in that style. Easy drinker from Yazoo ETF

Very drinkable, but a lot of the saison qualities get lost in the brett funk.

Poured from the bottle at the brewery.
Pours a slightly hazy, pale straw color with a good three fingers of white, foamy head. Some visible lacing as I sip.
Smells of brettanomyces with some lacto detected as well. Hints of hay/straw, funk, and pale malts are also present.
Tastes initially slightly sweet with hints of kaffir lime, coriander, tart fruit, funky yeast. Not your typical saison, but does have some potential.
Prickly on the tongue with a high carbonation. Drinkability is high at 5.3% abv.
Overall a pretty solid Saison from Yazoo. I think here is some room for improvement, but I would get this again as I'm sure they will tweak the recipe.
Cheers!

It is a solid base saison with very noticeable but far from overdone sour and funk notes. This would be a good one for transitioning people into wilds and/or sours.

Version Two....
Quick burst of sour which quickly faces out into a funky old barn finish... Sort of a weird beer.... Not sour, not funky enough... You get a hint of both aspects but they are so quick you don't get enough of either... Very wine like actually... Like a medium dry white wine... Disappointing

Very well done Brett saison. Maybe a little touch of rye, but not too noticeable. Clean, slight tart, slight funk.
