A new version of an American classic. Our Yazoo Pale Ale bursts with spicy, citrusy hop aroma and flavor, coming from the newly discovered Amarillo hop. The wonderful hop aroma is balanced nicely with a toasty malt body, ending with a cleansing hop finish. Made with English Pale, Munich, Vienna, and Crystal malts, and generously hopped with Amarillo, Perle, and Cascade hops. Fermented with our English ale yeast.

(Served in an American pint glass)
Thanks to puggy211 for this beer
Bottled on the 3rd week of January and consumed a month and a 1/2 later
A- This beer pours a crystal clear golden copper colored body with a good carbonation of tiny bubbles and a sticky thin head of white that last as a film for most of the beer.
S- The slightly sweet honey malt aroma gives way to a green hop note at the finish. The aroma is fresh and pretty balanced.
T- The slightly sweet pale malt flavor has some biscuit malt flavors that grow as the beer warms with some caramel malts notes following. There is a carbonic acid flavor that leads into the green herbal hops that finishes with a nice soft hop bite.
M- This beer has a medium mouthfeel with a fizzy finish that cleans up the finish but almost has a slight burn to it.
D- This is a nice pale ale. The malt has just enough sweetness to taste fresh but not too sweet and the biscuit malt, not my favorite malt in large amounts, was just enough to had depth to the pale malt but not overpower it. The hops had a nice balance of flavor and bitterness and worked well with the malt flavors. Easy to drink but it had some nice depth to keep it interesting.

Hazy amber with a frothy convex off-white head.
This has that West Coast, Green Flash-like hop bite of resin and pine that burns a little bit, with a hint of caramel, corn bread and brown toast.
The soft bubbly carbonation comes to a cotton dry finish.
