Poured from a 660ml bottle into a pint glass, and topped up.

Pours a hazy golden/bronze colour with a nice creamy head and loads of lacing.

Smells incredibly fresh, very hoppy.

Tastes very fresh too, tangy and citrusy, with light and sweet malts adding an element of slight balance.

Overall quite a fantastic tasty beer. Couldn't drink loads though.

A 660ml bottle with a BB of May 2014. ABV is stated as 4.3%. Acquired a while back from Trembling Madness in York. Described on the label as ultra pale and ultra hoppy.

Poured into a straight pint glass. Bottle conditioned. A bright golden-amber hue with faint haze and medium carbonation. Produces a large head of creamy white foam with good retention; this slowly reduces to a patchy surface layer. Nice lacing. Aroma of fruity hops with hints of white grape, melon, lime, citrus, grass/hay, light caramel malt and earthy yeast. Vibrant and delicious.

Tastes of fruity aromatic hops with a crisp, bitter finish. Notes of white grape, melon, mild grapefruit, lime, citrus, grass/hay, light caramel malt, earthy yeast and faint stewed hops. Well-attenuated, followed by a hoppy bitterness upon swallowing. Mouthfeel is smooth, dry and tingly, with pleasant carbonation and good body for the style. Hop oils stimulate the palate. Somewhat astringent, accompanied by an aftertaste of bitter aromatic hops, bright fruity notes and earthy yeast.

Very nice - do Moor make a bad beer? It looks great, while the aroma and flavour are replete with fruity hop notes and dry yeast. The malt is subtle but provides balance. Lovely body. A perfect pale ale - goes down a treat. Well worth sampling if you come across it.

Pale straw. Slight haze. Thin head.
Sweet citrus hop aroma.
Flowery and tropical hops rejecting the aroma. Buttery. Light bitterness.
A smooth and refreshing APA

Pale gold with thin white film.
Lots of fresh lead and tangerine hops on the nose, with some honey graham underneath.
Papaya and biscuit then lemon hard candy and blonde pine sap.
Grapefruit finish and rindy linger.
Crisp, light, round.

Lean, tight and citrussy. A very English blonde - balanced and smooth - but rather one-dimensional with the US hops. Other get pissy Citra, I'm not seeing that.

Good hops for the ABV, but only with that handicap.

Pours hazy straw amber into a tulip glass from a can. The two finger high head is thick, creamy and frothy white with great silky bubbles that cling to the glass long after diminishing. Retention is good, and lingering.

The nose is all sweet tropical; mango, grapefruit, lychee and some clementine. There's a brilliant freshness about the aroma; a heady scent of fruit, pine, hops, and floral leaves all blended into one. The flavour follows the nose almost perfectly with an immediate bittersweet tropical response on the sip, very mango-fresh, grapefuit rich and juicy. The pine and floral grass meanders in beautifully after the fruit, cleansing the palate and giving a wonderfully forest-fresh flavour, then the sweet, light malts cascade in before the mountain of hops. The aftertaste is an amalgamation of every flavour each jostling for position, and lingering far after the swallow.

It feels light-medium bodied leaning more into the full side of things with an oily texture. The beer feels smooth and heavy yet very easy drinking with minimal carbonation.

This is a great find, and I was wonderfully surprised to learn this was from a UK brewery. Beer52 really has some excellent taste.
