Popped in here for lunch and to see if they had The Abyss on tap (they didn't) and ended up leaving satiated as hell from an awesome pulled-pork sandwich with skin-on fries and a scrumptious nitro-served oatmeal pale ale (sounded interesting, so I had to try it).

I thought this would just be a venue to serve the beers from Deschutes Brewery, so I was pleasantly surprised to find a small brewhouse in there which offered another 10 beers or so on top of the Deschutes stuff. Awesome idea to not only serve the brewery stable but to have a little brewhouse to do some more creative brews.

Will definitely come back here again when I'm in the area. Perhaps even for one of their regularly occurring beer-tasting events. The only bone to pick is that I thought the food was slightly expensive compared to what I'm used to. The pulled pork was $11 (if I remember correctly), whereas I would have expected $8-$9 for a lunch like that. Perhaps it's just because Bend is kind of out in the middle of nowhere, though.

Large, loud but with sufficient space to handle a very large crowd. Good selection of beers including a few available no where else. I did not try the food.

When you go into the heart of Bend this place exists and always seems super popular.

Nice selection of draft only stuff, lots of wooden decor. Some televisions. Views of downtown. Not huge. Nice and intimate. Good quality, wide range of beer styles. The only real downside is how popular the place is. Good mix of about a dozen of the bottled beers, and 4-5 brewery only choices.

This place is simply a paradise. Mountain ski town, outdoorsy vibe. A massive assortment of all their beers, including two casks on at all times. The food was insanely good, bordering on gourmet, but good pricing. The tilamook cheese sauces were incredible. A good selection of hard to find bottle selections( I picked up the dissident). Staff was fast and friendly. Everything was faster and better than I was expecting.

Great brew pub, wide selection of house on draft and bottled beers. Food is high quality, with something for everyone. Varying decor from bourbon barrels to hanging beer art to brew materials. Cool spot.

Good place to start beer trekking in Bend, decent food and a wide range of Deschutes brews. Some exclusive. Heavy tourist traffic, sell a lot of swag.
