Pours a crystal clear straw yellow with a thick white cap that falls away rapidly but leaves a surprising amount of lacing. Aroma is grains and light biscuit. Flavor is mild with a noble hop forward flavor with a grain malt backbone. Feel is light and crisp. Overall a lot like some of the weaker American lagers on the market but with a European hop flavor.

Pours a translucent gold with no head.

Smells of light malt, a little grassiness

Taste is corn and grassy, water crackers. Very low profile.

Thin body....

This is a generic lager....slightly better than water. Will refresh you, but not much else.

Poured from a bottle at an Indian Restaurant in New York City. Deep gold color with white head, decent retention, thin ring and spotty lacing. Corny nose. A little sweet and corny tasting. Medium lite body, moderate carbonation. Bottled in May 2018. Overall an ok lager that paired well with a spicy dinner...I don’t understand the hate, I’ve had much worse lagers than this one...

Poured cold from 650-ml bottle into a straight-sided mug. Clear, pale golden color, with a finger of white head that settles rather rapidly. Good carbonation, light to medium body. Aromas of crackery malt, with grassy and herbal hops. Flavor is malt forward, with some decent bitterness. Finish is quite dry. To me, this drinks more like a Euro Pale Lager than an AAL. It's a little sweet, but not overpoweringly so. It has a lot of malt character and some pleasant bitterness. Paired with spicy chicken biryani, this really hits the mark. Recommended.

650mL bottled November 2017 (6 months ago) poured into a nonic imperial pint glass at fridge temp 4.5% ABV. The beer pours bright light straw yellow with nearly white head. Retention and lacing are above AAL average in the nucleated glass. The aroma is fairly pungent for the style with some corn and grassy hops. The taste is fairly nuetral with some pils malt, grassy hops and a yeasty aftertaste. Mouthfeel is thin to medium bodied, adequately carbonated and somewhat dry in the finish. There is some bitter oily residual after the swallow that, while not great, is not completely unpleasant. Overall, good (for a 6 month old AAL imported from India).

I dig the Taj Mahal artwork that they put on the label, but I don't dig that there is NO best by date anywhere on the bottle to speak of. Enough chit chat! let's see how this Indian lager tastes. I am not getting any off flavors or cheap adjunct taste, but it is also is has not very flavorful either. It's your run of the mill type of pale lager. It is cheap & easy to knock back a few. Cheers! B

Bought this to tick a beer from india. Drank and it concluded better than most per style from America.

It's very metallic and remiscent of old milwaukee.
