Zingaro is produced by Millennium Alcobev Pvt Ltd., (MABL) which is a joint venture bewteen United Breweries and its Scottish & Newcastle. I would like to think that this was a new and better Indian lager but sadly it is not different from UB's Kingfisher. It poured in a pale yellow colour, smelling like peach and smarties. The taste was frutiy, like candy, and a little gassy. There is not a total lack of body, rounding off nicely. I guess it could be an alterantive to the generic Kingsfisher.
