A 3.25 as expected with more lace shards.
S 3 as expected. Watery
T 3.25 better than expected. Lemony. Cleansing scrubbing. No corn starchiness.
F. 3.25 clean good finish dry. Tingly.
O best of carribean

S- The aroma is pretty light and faint with some grainy malt along with a touch of hay and a hint of hops.

T- The taste is very light bodied with some pale malts and a clean finish.

M- The mouthfeel is light bodied with a high amount of carbonation.

D- Overall, Presidente Light is a decent light beer but nothing I have any interest in purchasing again.

Had on tap at a resort in the Dominican Republic. A light yellow with slightly higher than average carbonation. Malt and hop flavor or aroma is far harder to detect than in normal Presidente. Tastes more like the normal garden variety light macro adjunct lager. I had once and made sure to get normal Presidente from thereafter.

I just came home from my vacation in the Dominican Republic where I had several of these. It reminded me of Corona light. It had a light golden color, not much head, light smell, not much flavor and it was a bit watery, significant carbonation, but there were no skunky or metal flavors. It wasn't bad drinking in the heat, and sometimes it was quite refreshing. However, it is certainly not a tasty beer.

Pours a clear golden color with white head. Cereal grains on the nose mostly with a little skunk; follows onto the palate. Light bodied. Finishes much the same way it started. Typical simple pale lager but with a little skunk.

While this is nowhere near as good as the non light version, it still represents a significantly better beer than a lot f the light island lagers down here. Aside from missing the body of its bigger sibling, it's also missing that fresh cereal grain flavor. This stops short of being an all out adjunct soup, but definitely tinny and corny at times, and without the crispness from the hops. Same lager yeast and process from what I can tell, still really refreshing but this one really does need to be ice cold to have any value. Great carbonation, both of these beers set the standard for that. It seems weird that both of these would be substantially better than other light lagers down here in Puerto Rico, but that really has been the case in my experience thus far. Also really tough to beat these price points. 2 bucks s bomber feels like a steal no matter what you are getting, and these have s quality well above their market price. I'd like to try the black version, not a lot of dark beer happening down here...

Poured from a 12oz can into a US tumbler pint glass.

A: The beer is a light straw yellow color with a thin white head that fades quickly and leaves a very thin lace on the glass.

S: The aroma is very faint but contains grain, adjuncts, light caramelized malts and a very faint touch of hops.

T: The taste starts out bready with flavors of grain and adjuncts up front. Then some malt sweetness quickly follows but the malt character is very thin as you would expect. The hops presence is almost non-existent and there isn’t much balance. The after-taste is bready and sweet.

M: A little smooth but not very crisp, very light body, medium carbonation, finish is clean.

O: Not very flavorful, goes down easily since there isn’t much to it, not filling at all, very mild kick, decent representation of style, even amongst the mostly lackluster beers of the style, this is not a beer I would want to drink if I had other options.

12 oz bottle pours a clear yellow with a large cap of pillowy white head. Retention and lace, like Presidente heavy, are both fantastic for an adjunct lager.

Nose smells like a bag of Corn Nuts with some sulfurous lager yeast and some weird lemon-juice aroma.

Taste is extremely light on the malt, cereal grains at best. That odd, lemony sourness is still there. Certainly not a lot of flavor for any flaws to hide behind. Its not very good, stick with the standard Presidente while you are relaxing in Punta Cana.
