Poured from green 12oz bottle into glass.
Clear golden color. Minimal cap and minimal lacing.
Aroma is off putting, skunk like, petrol fuel.
Taste is skunky lager.
Crisp and dry.
Drink it very cold in a resort setting.

Spent 7 days in Punta Cana. This was the only beer on the resort. When it's 90 with 85% humidity and you're floating in the pool it tastes wonderful. One afternoon, it was rainy and cool and I was able to evaluate in a less influenced setting. Not very good. But it's hard to complain when you're in the tropics.

Why do we all need to label all Adjunct Lagers as "poor?" Of course it is not a craft beer or something high class but still it can be something to enjoy at the right place and the right time.
For example, tonight it went really well with chickpea crurry. What I like about adjuncts is that they don't really have any remarkable taste. This one has a slight fruity, apple-like tone with a slight bitterness to it, but still it is okay to drink it, especially with hot food or on a hot summer day.

Had this on draft at the 2015 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival from the Dominican Republic kiosk.
Golden brown color with a thin head.
Nothing great in the aroma, grains not much else.
Taste is just a dry macro style pilsner, excessive amounts of dry graininess.
Feel is thin, not much left in the aftertaste or that is memorable.
Overall, a pretty terrible beer, but had to try it since we were there and won't have it again since it is just another macro style beer to me that doesn't offer much in aroma or flavor.

Poured a snny yellow with an impressive bright white head that stayed and stayed- rendering a lot of uneven side lacing. Impressive start that the beer did not maintain.
Aroma- earthy tones and a lot of raains along with mild herbal hops.
Taste - high in carbonation and crisp with a little bite but nothing in flavor stands out. Very dry finish.
This is a hot day, thirst quenching beer but not much else.
Several years back on a vacation to a Dominican resort, they had this on tap for free. They had some beers you could purchase but I drank free all week and I would not have done that if I thought this beer was crap.

Poured from a 12oz bottle into a pilsner glass. Also had straight from the bottle.

Appearance is clear amber/yellow, smell of corn and wheat, not much head with some lacing, average carbonation. Crisp and clean taste of corn and wheat... can be a bit skunky.

This is a tough beer for me to evaluate. When compared to all the great beers of the world this obviously isn't even as good as I have rated in numbers. In order to fully appreciate this beer, though, you have to understand the country, the culture, and the people of the Dominican Republic.

The DR is HOT! Very hot! All the time. The country is so poor that most natives bathe in the rain water that runs off their roofs. This is a country of barefoot kids, meals of rice, beans and chicken, and of course... baseball. Constant baseball.

Presidente is served "bien frio" (very cold) everywhere in the DR. It is almost always drank out of the bottle and it is the national beer and for most people the only beer.

When taking all of this into account, and having lived amongst these people, this beer is daggone good. Nothing tastes better than an ice-cold Presidente on a hot, steamy Dominican afternoon or night (yes, it's still hot and steamy at night).

The beer pours a very pale gold color with a white lace head. It has an ok mild hop aroma to it. There is the scent of pale malts and lager yeast. The taste is weak and watery, but not that bad. It lacks any malt character and actually reminds me quite a bit of a Budweiser in taste - tad more flavor. The mouthfeel is decent. It is a low bodied beer and could be quite drinkable - goes down relatively easily, but doesn't have much character to it.

Pours a clear yellow straw-like color with a decent amount of foamy head.

Scent was mostly of grains and corn.

The taste is mostly of grains and corn.

Light bodied, crisp and thin with high carbonation.

I'm not sure if I could drink this again, there is too much to be desired.
