Served from a Four Sons growler into a dimple pint. The color is straw gold, with a very nice creamy head with excellent retention and a beautiful lacing left. The smell is a nice Saaz hopping with a bit of malt backing. The taste melds a very nice noble and Saaz hopping with a very solid malt backing that meld together perfectly, leaving a beautiful Saaz backing in the aftertaste. Mouthfeel is nice and creamy. Drinkability-wise, this is one I could drink all night long.

Matt Allyn was proud of this beer when he talked to us (we were told this was a small German pilsner recipe that he was personally given, and knowing Matt, we believe it!), and for good reason. This was a wow when we had it at the brewpub, and this growler certainly doesn't disappoint. A beautiful mix of hops and a good malt backbone, but yet it drinks like crazy, and this is a fine beer from a damn fine brewpub, and one I hope that I will have in the future.
