On tap at GABS festival, May 2014.

Pours a mid-spectrum gold, clear with foamy cream-coloured head, thin retention. Could be cloudier for a Kellerbier.

Smells fairly tangy and fruity. Bit of malt at first, develops some banana character and a nice zesty twist of lemon and passionfruit. Pleasant.

Taste is mostly fruity upfront, not a lot of malt character. Quite tangy midway with passionfruit and a touch of crisp green apple. Gets a slightly phenolic edge on the back which is not only nicely controlled but totally fitting with the style. Nice palate.

Decent body for the style, could be bittier but goes down fine and crisp.

Pleasant kellerbier, with a subtle new world edge.

Well here's a little collab I'd thought I'd never see well one out of the three anyway CUB with a couple of micro breweries anyway I won't prejudge and it pours a hazed honey amber hue with a one finger head that quickly fades to a layer across the top and a touch of clingy leggy lacing,the smell is pretty basic made up of herbal earthy hops and sweet malts but what you expect for the style,the medium body and moderate carbonation really suits the feel and the tastes of honey malts,pears and herbal earthy hops are simple yet work nicely and overall it's a nice drop that I would like to see again one day cheers.

From BWS.

A - golden clear body, quick dying one finger head. Minimal spotty lace.

S - earthy/floral (!) hops from the moment the bottle is opened. Hint aprico/mango.

T - very nicely and well hopped lager. No lightweight taste. Hops drive but a load of malt and a certain fruitiness back to the apricot on the nose.

M - medium carbonation, lightweight body. No hint of the 6% makes easy drinking.

O - well made standard beer, but all the better for it. And dead fresh and from the fridge in store makes the difference. Suspect in a month's time from a shelf somewhere it will be 'meh'.
