Pours a pale golden straw hue with a lazy one finger head and a touch of lacing, the smell is what you expect for a bohemian pilsner it's light biscuity sweet malts and herbal zesty grassy Saaz hops, the mouthfeel is between light and medium bodied with a sessionable above moderate carbonation and the taste is pretty much a one two combination of sweet biscuity malts and those grassy herbal Saaz hops which round out the sweet malts with a soft light bitterness which really evens it out and has you coming back for another sip and overall apart from the look it's what I expected and doesn't try to be something it's not,one for those lazy summer days when you just want to kick back and take it all in cheers.

Seems this brewery has lifted its game lately. I had this pils at the craft beer showcase in Perth, as well as at the brewery tonight. Decent Czech pils with a bucket load of late saaz. Damn tasty. I get the impression they just used the local tap water which gives a slight background tang - but this is minor, top beer.

A - Light, pale and clear with a thin white head which recedes to a collar quickly.
S - Grass, light pils malt.
T - Very light on here, grass is the predominant flavour. Im not getting any malt.
M - Clean, refreshing, moderately carbonated, dry finish.
O - Refreshing, but really without any substance. Just bland.

Appearance - 3.5
Pale straw in colour with a small white head.
Smell - 3.0
Lots of grassy hops, little malt character, smells fresh.
Taste - 3.0
Little in the way of malt backbone or flavour. Hops provide assertive bitterness, but little flavour. Would be great on a hot day.
Mouthfeel - 3.5
Fine carbonation, quite smooth.
Drinkability - 3.5
Great in summer, but not good as anything other than a quencher.
OVERALL - 3.2
A well made, but ultimately boring pilsener that needs a lot more biscuity malt and spicy hops character to make it an interesting drink.
